Scheepjes Stone Washed/River Washed Colour Pack, Sport Weight Yarn, 50 Assorted Colors

I bought this to crochet mandalas and to try it out as I had never used it before. It is soft and nice to work with. I had zero issues with splitting and the colors are so gorgeous. It isn't a terribly strong yarn, you can break it with your hands, I found this out by accident. That was not a negative thing for me though, the yarn is plenty strong and just looks beautiful, a new favorite for me. I cut little strands off and taped them to the labels so I'd have my own sample color set as I do intend on buying more of this yarn and can decide colors with real samples. Personally, I love it.

I love this yarn. It is absolutely beautiful. I make crochet animals and I use this yarn for highlights and clothing. It adds that special something that you can't get from the usual yarn. I love that the variety pack gives you so many colors to use.

I am beyond thrilled! First the stool itself is lovely ... the legs are solid, rustic wood (although there is some wood glue that will need to be sanded smooth around the wooden pegs). The bottom of each leg has a nice pad which will help prevent the stool from sliding on slick floors. The chair pad is a bit padded with foam, under a nice burlap cover. For comfort, I will probably add a memory foam round to the top of the stool (and cover that in a neutral fabric) prior to covering it with the crochet Sophie’s pattern. The yarn,wow, it’s lovely! Bright and Cheery colors, the wooden buttons and the Sophie label seems to be of nice quality. The 100% Mercerized Cotton is excellent, easy to crochet with! One important thing to note is that the pattern of Sophie is not included with this stool kit ... that was a bit of a bummer for me because I like to have a real, quality copy of the pattern in my hand. So, you will need to track down the pattern (available in Ravelry).

Soft and squishy. I just love staring at it lovingly :-)
