AcnecideFace Wash Gel 5% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment for Spot-Prone Skin 50g

I’ve been using benzoyl peroxide for almost a year now. I use both the wash and the cream, which were prescribed by my doctor. Please do not purchase this without doing proper research beforehand. This product can cause major skin irritation if overused, and it can also bleach your pillows, towels, eyebrows, eyelashes, and even parts of your face.That said, it’s a very effective treatment and works well as an alternative to Accutane, especially if your acne is on the milder side. Be sure to ease your skin into it, as it’s quite strong. While it can be used daily, it will dry out the skin - which might not be ideal if you wear makeup regularly.In some cases, you might be able to get this prescribed for free through your doctor. Overall, I think this facial wash is definitely worth the money. But please only purchase it if you are having serious skin issues, not just as an everyday cleanser ! :)

I must say I’m really impressed with the results so far I purchased this face wash about 5 weeks ago now, I’ve read that you don’t get true results until 12 weeks onwards but I can definitely already see the difference!I’ve used the acnecide cream before but had a really bad reaction (itchy peeling red skin) so was a bit reluctant to trying this face wash, but after trying every single thing possible for my hormonal acne I thought why not .When I say I’ve tried everything I mean everything from cream’s , antibiotics, and hormonal tablets but this seems to be the only thing that has actually made a difference!! Super happy ! I’d recommend starting on a small amount to the skin to get your skin used to it, and I bought a cerave face cream to put on after to stop the skin drying out too much and seems to have worked a treat! :) but overall really happy with the results so far and I’ll post an update on the 12 week mark!

My holy grail. I love this face wash so much it definitely helped with my hyperpigmentation. I don’t use it now anymore but it’s defo worth the purchase and it did don’t break me out

Works really well with clearing my skin, have noticed much less spots and appearance of blackheads just need to make sure and avoid lips, eyelids etc and not leave on the face longer than 1-2 mins. Great results so far.

This may be a great product for oily skin and closed spots, but it should not be used on inflamed or raw spots, but I did not find that out until I had the product and read the full leaflet. It is also very drying (which I guess is how it works) so their warning to start slowly is good, but it was no good for my type of acne and I did not find out until after it was delivered.

Very effective. Not too hard on the skin

I was told to use this by a dermatologist!! She said I had acne when in fact I went to see her for eczema which was evident over my body but she was adamant my face was acne and not eczema. This has given me the worst eczema flare up on my face. Shame on the dermatologist for recommending it when people here who clearly have better skin than me have also suffered as a result.
