I love these water bottles! They last a long time, but on the occasion that I make a mistake and it breaks, I always replace it with the same brand - without even shopping for other options. I love the size, shape and drinking out of glass is ideal. I've been buying this brand of water bottle for nearly 15 years - worth every penny!I use a Guyot brand splash guard (from REI) that allows me to drink water while driving. A must-have for this bottle! It's flexible, food-grade silicone so it fits beautifully in the mouth of the 16oz and the 22 oz bottle as well.

Simple, perfect water bottle that is easy to clean with a bottle brush. Never had issues with leaking. Nice handle for carrying. I like that it lets me know how many ounces is in the bottle. I am currently pregnant and wanting to be extra vigilant about my water intake and keeping track. Size is perfect for my needs. I like that it is glass instead of plastic considering all we are learning about microplastics. I've bought one for my husband and my dad because the price point is right. I'll prob gift them to other family members in the future as well.

I just got this today and I love it. The bottle is designed ergonomically not only in shape but to give you a good natural grip with a cool decorative silicone wrap on the bottle too. Easy to hand wash with a little soapy water and a bottle brush that's it. The glass bottle is nice and thick so it's not going to break easily. It's not tempered glass so you don't want to put it in the freezer, microwave or boil it and go right from cold to hot liquids or it will crack/break, but I don't think it was intended for hot liquids anyway. I wanted something glass so my water isn't contaminated with plastics where more and more are being identified as leaching chemicals into the liquids it contains. Now it's not just BPA, it's BPS and others too so plastic in general in contact with food and liquids are not a healthy combination to include plastic wrap, plastic storage, including frozen food and styrofoam, etc. I have even discovered after buying milk in glass bottles, it tastes much better and I'm sure it's because the plastic milk bottles are adding a taste from chemicals leaching into it from sitting in contact with plastic. Now on this bottle is Plastic #5 Skew top (Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer. It is strong, tough, has a high resistance to heat and acts as a barrier to moisture). Although I wish it wasn't, it also doesn't actually sit in contact with the liquid; it is just a cap cover and to pour with, which only has a brief contact with the liquid as you drink. A metal cap would be ideal to be totally plastic free but I haven't seen one that is a sip style yet. This glass bottle is the best one I found in all my research.

Honest and true review here. LifeFactory is one of the best. I love they are made in the USA. Glass is far superior to plastic and even stainless steel (SS) for so many reasons. After a horrible realization regarding my daughter's stainless steel (and not cheap!) water bottle containing a lead sealing dot on the bottom, I decided rather than going with SS, to pay for a quality glass bottle. I tend to over research, and fell upon LifeFactory. Thankfully they had a sale and I actually paid less for this bottle than for the poison containing SS bottle I previously bought for her. Was very pleased with the quality upon opening. I chose the screw cap because the reviews on the flip top were not great, and in my experience flip top types of caps almost always eventually leak.So why only 4 stars for this?? The 22 oz is huge and quite heavy for a child and doesn't fit easily in her water bottle pouch on her lunch box. The silicone also made it tricky to get it in/out. I may consider a smaller one for her lunch box. I'd actually prefer to purchase directly from the Lifefactory website, but with a better deal here, and free shipping and returns, it is hard not to go this route. Good news is this was a legit Lifefactory bottle. Pay attention to the seller, friends.Bottom line is I would buy again, with awareness of size for who/what is using the bottle.**(Sidebar, not all stainless is bad, just do your research and don't go cheap quality--and more expensive doesn't always equal higher quality . 2 of the best are KleanKanteen and Yeti, likely LifeFactory also makes a SS--but I'm only familar with their glass. Just make sure you don't buy a knockoff of these brands--commonplace on amazon, don't be fooled. KleanKanteen has great customer service and sent me their lab results, so that goes a long way with me and will always be my primary choice for anything SS).

fantastic water bottle.

I wanted a water bottle that didn't make water taste like plastic or metal, or have to worry about harmful chemicals (even if they say they aren't harmful). I also wanted something that I could use all day, and keep my cats from shoving their paws or faces in my water (I used to go through a lot of cups). I figured I would give the Lifefactory bottles a shot, and now I am a little obsessed (I now have 3; I had a 4th, but it died during a brief encounter with the sidewalk). The 22 oz. bottle is great because it requires fewer fill-ups. It is easy to track my water consumption, and I have increased the amount of water I drink. I also drink a lot of seltzer water, and this holds just about 2 cans (minus a sip). I haven't had issues with it leaking water, but if you use it for seltzer (or anything with bubbles) be advised that this does seep through if not held upright. They are very easy to clean, easy to carry, and very solid/sturdy. The one that I tragically lost, however, was because the lid fell off while I was carrying it. I am an aggressive arm-swinger and was carrying it by the cap, so that may have been the issue (or the cap threads weren't as good as the other ones that I have). Lesson learned - don't swing arms if carrying by cap, or hold the bottle itself and swing away!I recommend this bottle to anyone and everyone I meet!! One of my best purchases lately.
