Rear Hatch All Metal Liftgate Tailgate Handle back For 1998-2003 Sienna with 5 Pcs Door Panel Removal Tools

Don't be lured by the included tool, the part itself does not fit in (at least for my 2001 Sienna).First off, the handle movement is not smooth because one of the moving parts has a sharp edge. then, the two rods don't fit in the holes, I didn't want to quit right there since I already took the interior panel off, so I adjusted the rod position myself. after about 1 hour of extra work, i finally put this crappy part on, but then the overall size is too big hence it leaves a gap between the handle+light assembly and the door body!

I liked the fact that it was metal instead of plastic like the factory part although a factory part would have cost about 4 times as much. It came with mold trim tools that I didn't have a need for but it was nice for them to include them in case I did need them. The only down side I encountered was that the bolt holes and studs did not align exactly but a little twisting and bending made them fit. Over all I was very well satisfied with the part and price.

All metal but barely fit 2002 Sequoia. Took quite a bit of pressure and fiddling to install.Gate still does not open. May be a case of a stretched cable, though.

Wish we bought the more expensive part . This part was cheaper and the latch is harder then heck to open. Buy original part.

Absolutely no plastic on the new latch handle. Every single piece of the new handle is metal. Glad I sprung the extra few bucks to get the tools to remove the door parts. It's helpful to limit the amount of pieces that'll need to be replaced.

Installed and worked great so much better than the OEM stock plastic. I do recommend spraying the pivot points with a light weight oil every couple months to keep from seizing.

Very flimsy metal bent every time the lever was pulled has to use parts from of handle to make work tools were nice though

Easy to install and very helpful that it came with plastic pieces to help get panel off. Not the highest quality, had to tweak it a little to get it to fit in, but for the price it was pretty much perfect for what I needed
