These cards are pretty easy to shuffle. Our group plays Hand & Foot which uses several decks, so that requires a lot of shuffling. I think these are easier to shuffle than the standard paper cards.

I'm not sure what you mean by a cut card. As I remember there are 52 cards plus 2 Jokers and a couple extra cards with no face or number. Maybe those are cut cards? I'm not home now, so I can't look more closely.
