I got the black and white owl because I wanted the silver accent. I was looking to light my kitchen and main living area enough to function, but not be too bright. This turned out to be perfect. I love it. The shade comes down low, so my fur babies on the floor aren’t staring into a bright light. It came fully assembled, except for the bulb and the shade, which were easy. The only Con was in the packing. It was well protected with the big chunk of Styrofoam, but the Styrofoam must be old because there were a ton of tiny balls everywhere. Not the big peanut size, but little itty-bitty ones. Now that that’s over with, I am really pleased with the cute little lamp and fat owl. It definitely brings character to the space. Seems well made.

So cute and classy

This little lamp is adorable! I use it in my kitchen- on my countertop. It not only gives off some soft light, but looks great. I love owls, so this fit right into my decor. It arrived in good shape- easy to assemble. It was perhaps a little pricey, but the lamp is very well made, so you really do get what you pay for. It was just what I needed to add some light to a dark corner of my kitchen. My only suggestion, is that the lamp shade would look a tad better if it were a little smaller- or not as tall. The shade itself is well made, though. Great addition to my kitchen.

I was looking for a lamp with a shorter base for a small end table. This is a very cute solution, it is well made, looks great on my end table but would work fine in a bedroom.

the decoration seems well done, a chubby little owl is undeniably "cute," as everybody says. But the wings are...mismatched is the word, because one wing is convex (a rounded ridge, which seems right) and the other is concave like a valley. Quality inspection and control is not up to par. I guess it'll be OK, but it is definitely noticeable and "off," especially now that I've noticed it :-( And so it's one of those things I'll *always* notice and will *always* be a small disappointment. Not sure whether to return it, partly because the packing material was all taped together -- lots of strong tape stuck to cardboard and styrofoam, so everything stuck together and just getting it out of the box broke the styrofoam, which is an instant mess. I have to decide whether it's worth the trouble, and what the chances are that a replacement would have the same, or other, defect. So I can't give it 5 stars/excellent, and it's a bit better than 3 (fair), so 4 is like, good enough?
