These boots are simply fabulous! They look amazing, are clearly well made and I love the colour - a vibrant red, which makes me smile and is worthy of the compliments I have received from friends. I have given them 4 stars for comfort, only because I suffer with painful feet and no shoe will ever rate a five out of five for me. Despite this, I have worn these boots for hours at a time and I am sure that as the leather continues to soften they will become my go-to footwear this year. I was slightly dubious about buying without trying on first (owing to my painful feet), but the fit is true to size. My ankles and calves fit nicely within the fresh-from-the-box buckle setting, but owing to there being three buckles these could be easily adjusted to fit different widths if necessary. I have not owned a pair of Fly boots before, and I love the way that the sole on the heel is angled, meaning that walking in these boots does not feel 'clunky' at all. Hopefully, these will turn into a good investment (I wouldn't normally spend this much on a pair of boots) as they feel like they are built to last.

Colour is gorgeous. A deep green. The leather has been made to look darker in certain places such as the toes, a sort of ditressed look without looking tatty. The buckles work so you can adjust the width whilst wearing the leather in. The tongues do slip slightly towards the outside of my legs but not too far and dont cause me any discomfort. The unusual shape to the sole where it curves at the back and front seems to help because the sole isn't bendy, not sure how to explain but it helps you walk better in them. The toe box is nice and wide. Lots of compliments on these. I did need to wear them in for 2 days by loosening the buckles and leaving the zip part way up... after that they have been perfect. I love them and bought another pair of the same brand in a different style. I think Scop may be my favourite.

I'm thrilled with my Fly boots in purple they are the best purchase I've made all year. They were delivered really quickly arriving a day early. I absolutely love the design of the boot, the buckles give them a special and quirky look and I adore the little flies on the sole and the back of the heel. The boots have a zip so you can put them on easily but the buckles are fully functional if you need to loosen or tighten them to the size of your leg which is great bonus if you want to wear them with tights or jeans. The soles are really thick so they will last for plenty of winters and they have a cut out at the back ( where you would normally wear them down) which makes walking in them feel really easy for thick boots, they definitely don't drag you down. The leather is thick and soft to keep you warm through the colder season ( although they'll look fab all year round ) and even though I've had them on all afternoon straight from the box my feet aren't rubbed or sore. not one blister!!! Buying them from Amazon was the cheapest price I found and I hunted all over the internet so I feel like a got a bargain and they are well worth the money, it's an investment as I wont need new boots for a long time. Treat yourself they really are SUPER FLY!!

Wanted something to wear that doesn't totally let water in when it rains. These are cute, practical and fit really well for my wider feet. They are the right size without going up/down. The colour is lovely and subtley different and I have worn them without the need to break them in. Fly will be on my radar for any future boots now. I would say they aren't as easy to drive in as totally flat shoes but that's not a dealbreaker for me.
