The problem with this was no screws came with the mailbox to screw it onto the post. Had to get screws separately. This was very annoying because I hired someone to put the post and box up. The quality of the mailbox is great!

My last mailbox from this company lasted less than two years before the side hinge came apart (metal fatigue). I looked at changing brands but opted against it because I didn't want to install a different post. This mailbox did not have a side hinge, so I decided to take a chance on it. No mounting hardware was supplied, but I saved the rusty screw from the previous box and reused them. This box mounted to the same post as the last one and seems to be plenty sturdy. It holds my magnetic numbers as well as the last mailbox did. We'll see if it lasts more than two years.

Had the previous version of this from 5-6 years ago where the door never worked well even with the factory magnet modification. This redesign is way better and works great. Wish the flag was a bit tighter when upright but it works well. Would still have the first one if the car did not hit it. The car actually had more damage. I felt bad as it was a friends car as they were parking in front of my house :(

too big and wobbly on landover aluminum post. Don't buy them together. If you want to get this mailbox, make sure it gets installed on a rigid wooden post. Quality control is bad. It came with a damage to one of the rivets. It is quite large and roomy, though.

Easy to install. Terrific capacity. Great looking.
