Pyramid Antidote Bowling Ball

When i left bowling due to an injury i got rid of all my equipment never thinking i could bowl again. Last year i went bowling with some guys from work and my knee (the injury mentioned) was not bothering me so i decided to invest in some new stuff. I was looking around at all the company's and i am familiar with the big boys but not really happy with what i saw. Then i came across Pyramid Bowling Company and WOW!!!! i liked everything i saw. I decided on the Antidote and have been super happy with it. I a shoot my first 300 game of my bowling career (17 plus years) 5/18/18. I love your company and in fact all my equipment is from you guys. you have a fan for LIFE!!!! Thank You

I needed a ball to replace my Ebonite Cyclone. I am a 2 handed bowler with a high rev rate, so I needed a ball that does react to quickly and would get down the lane before hooking. I found that entry level bowling balls fit the bill perfectly and were a lot cheaper than the high end big hooking balls. Since the Cyclone is no longer made I looked around and found that the Pyramid Antidote seem to be very similar to my Cyclone. The main difference was the Cyclone has a asymmetrical core and the Antidote has a symmetrical core. My understanding is that in the hands of a skilled bowler the asymmetrical ball can really get more angle into the pocket an therefore increase the chances for a strike. But in the hands of a less skilled bowler they can be unpredictable. The Symmetrical ball is more predictable, so I decide to try it out. I was a little worried since Pyramid isn't a big company compared to Storm, Brunswick, etc. But the ball seems to be well made and most importantly matches up well with my speed/revs and actually hooks a little more than my Cyclone so I had to throw it a little faster.

Purchased this ball as a Christmas gift for my wife. It's her second Pyramid ball. First 3 games outside of league resulted in a 518 series... not bad for a 70 year old!!! This ball finishes very well. She is very happy with it, and looks forward to upping her league average by 10 pins.

Ball arrived in two days, fast... Nice color..Bowled last night, did bowl decent scores, 148, 158 and 177... all games missed at least one 10 pin spare.. I have rhino 15 wght balll... my new ball is a 14 lbs. Medium oil lanes.. Ball has a good hook but skids a bit on heavy oil.... had to slow ball down ... did improve my average by 25 pins last night...

Ball has a lot of hook potential and the coloration is very unique and stands out when you are bowling. Was skeptical at trying a new brand but Pyramid has delivered with their product line. I will definitely be shifting my purchasing dollars to their brand from the over-inflated competitors.

Wow. I bowl for fun, and this ball is no joke. My goodness it might be the lack of oil from league players, but this ball hooks and flares like crazy. I love the look of it's roll. This was my first ball and I am completely satisfied

Ball has a nice snap at the back-end. Very happy so far.

I got this ball a few weeks ago and just decided to write a review. It's a great ball to learn your technique and more! I got tired of using a house ball and can say this...it is absolutely different but please talk to your shop about proper fitting for your style. Other then that have fun!
