Haiku Jaunt Eco-Friendly RFID Blocking Travel Crossbody

I’m not a purse gal, I like bags. My aesthetic is outdoorsy, always walking a dog, and needs to be able to carry a water bottle with me.I am looking for a bag to take with me on a trip overseas, and this looked promising. Unfortunately when it arrived, I knew right off it wouldn’t work. The design screams “I am a tourist and this is a bag that is also a purse!”As my husband so aptly put it, this looks like a purse that Rick Steves’ wife would wear.The RFID pocket thing is weird, too. It’s like they sewed in some credit card slots from a wallet right into the inside compartment of the purse. Who the hell carries their ID or credit card outside of a wallet, just hanging out in the main compartment? The pocket is so shallow that I wouldn’t even feel comfortable keeping a hotel key in it.The worst part, though, is that the purse doesn’t zip closed all the way. There are gaps on either end of the zipper where, if your purse turned over on its side or head, change or chapstick or heck, even whatever card you may keep in that dumb RFID pocket, could spill right out.The material of the purse is nice, I just wish someone who’d actually used a purse or a bag before had designed it. This seems like it was designed by a man who’s “seen a lot of ladies out and about” and figured he’d give it a shot. >.<

I had a Haiku bag that I was able to keep for 4-5 years that I absolutely loved. Though that one isn't made any longer, this is really close. It's perfect for how I store things and lots of room in the main pocket. I keep a wallet, sunglasses, normal glasses, and pens in the main compartment and have been known to stash snacks in there (like a 20 oz. bottle of water and a piece of fruit) with room to spare.There is a pocket in the back, the zippered pocket in the front, and a pocket in the front under the flap. Inside there is the main area, but there is also a small zippered pocket and a second, non-zippered pocket in there as well. Lots of room for whatever, and plenty of options for organization.

Perfect bag. I can fit my iPad in the slide pocket, either inside or outside. My fat phone/wallet fits in the slide pocket under the flap. My sunglasses and regular glasses fit great in the little outside side zipper. Keys in the flap zipper pocket. Little items in the inside zip pocket, and my charger in the inside slide pocket along with a small tripod stand for phone. And it still has enough room to reach in and have a few more items in the main pocket. But it still remains moderately small.The description said it is an RFID bag. However, from what I see the only RFID part is a little pocket, I assume for a Credit card or passport card, that is further down in the bag. There is nothing to secure a card if you put it in there its just a slot. Not sure the real purpose for that pocket, as I would be concerned any important card could easily fall out when reaching in or out of the bag. I don't see any description about the RFID.

After reading a million reviews trying to find the perfect purse for my MIL this one fit the bill! Not to small not to big, fit bullet journal, wallet, keys, gloves fold grocery bags, pens, tissue packet and so many pockets! She needed something a little bigger then the one she had and something with a sturdier strap. This bag has a really nice strap that’s very secure and adjustable. She had to sew the strap on her old purse so many times and I really wanted to get her something that would last a long time. She walks her dog every day and always brings her purse, She loves this one! It’s light weight and holds so much with perfect amount of pockets to keep things organized. I was so excited for her to open this gift, it was hard to wait until Christmas Eve Lol

This bag is beautiful. That's the first thing I noticed. The exterior fabrics are artistic and functional. It is durable. The blue color is attractive. I get lots of compliments on it. The bag is made of fabric, which is nice that no animals were harmed when making it. It expands when I need it to, for example, I can carry a small book, and it lays flat if nothing is in it. It lasts for a long time. I love the bags by Haiku.

I love this bag so nice, and medium sized which I thought it was going to be smaller but ended up being perfect for my wallet which is also a Haiku, mini umbrella, small water bottle, and my phone fits nicely in the back of the bag in the zipper area. So far it seems to hold up I am wondering how the straps will last ( as with any handbag straps can be a problem) the material of the bag seems very sturdy and not too thick. Overall it is a great size and for the price it is a deal considering I've bought more expensive bags and they were a lot smaller did not have such nice material as this bag does. I have hopes for this. Nice purchase.

I had this purse in the previous version. The fabric wore extremely well and never got soiled. After several years, the decorative stitching finally got worn to the point that I decided I really should replace it. So, I chose this blue version. It has the features I liked in the previous purse: size, interior pockets, side pocket for phone, zipped pockets for rosary,ear buds and other small things. It's just such a versatile purse! I was a little concerned that the blue color would be too bright. But, I like it very much. Great choice for me!

Pretty but not practical. I’m a fan of Haiku bags and have finally worn out the one I bought many years ago. Although they seem to have upped the quality of the body and added more pockets, they’ve made a heavier, smaller bag and lost some of the best features. This is a poor replacement. The strap is too narrow and twists uncomfortable when I wear it cross body. The main zipper is not attached to both ends, leaving a gap on one side where pens or other small items can fall out.I’m also disappointed with Amazon’s advertised free returns because that doesn’t include full refunds unless one accepts credit on the Amazon account.
