Q: Can you use ground espresso in this instead of pods?

Yes and in fact I believe the espresso is much better using ground coffee and the cost is much lower as well. Also be aware not all capsules will work. I bought a brand that did not work and the only way to use them was to cut open the capsules and put the coffee in the grounds holder. But as I said it makes much better coffee that way anyway.

Q: Can I adjust the bars of pressure? I like espresso at 9 bars.

Q: Will this work with nespresso vertuo pods?

This machine will only work with the nespresso capsules as the vertuo pods are too big for it.
