SadolinEXTRA WOODSTAIN (YELLOW TIN) 2.5lt - Rosewood

We have used this on bare wood and previously stained surfaces and the finish is perfect. It is expensive but worth every penny for the time it saves, one coat is generally enough to transform a tired surface.

Good brand in my opinion. It covers well goes a long way and dries to a deep walnut finish. As long as you don’t skimp on preparation, like sanding down. I then used some white spirit on a rag to get rid of dust and nibs. Dried up great

I have been using Sadolin for a long time, I first used it on a 5 bar gate some 40 years ago, I still have the gate and it still looks smart, and I have used it on other outside wood, that's why I still use it,

Applies easily and I'm sure it will preserve the outdoor woodwork very well. The only reservation I have is that the natural colour turns brownish if the first coat is brushed over before the stain is dry.

My potting shed - painted with this product 6 years ago, was now looking shabby, so used the same again - looks as good as new - well almost! Gets a lot of weather, not in a sheltered spot, so needs a good two coats. Easy to apply with brush and roller.

Easy to apply but darker than I wanted. It has a good review for durability and this is why I chose it but as I have only just used it, I can’t verify this.

Arrived promptly, husband happy with how it went on. Certainly looks good and freshened up surfaces. Not used the extra durable previously so time will tell.

Brilliant product and worth spending the extra money on the Woodstain! Used this on hardwood window frames and wouldn't use anything else.
