Obviously stored with the sides under pressure as the front and back openings are bowed outwards meaning the lid is loose. Item was returned as insects would easily get in and smells would certainly get out. You could see through to the bottom of the bin whilst the lid was on. Probably great if you get one that’s not been squished. Although the handle is also weak

I bought this compost bin to use as a dog poo waste receptacle. It works brilliantly! I line it with a compostable carrier bag, place the dog poo in a bag ( see my other reviews) and then into this bin. The bin has a charcoal filter to prevent smells. I keep it in my garage and empty it every two to three days. I wish I’d thought of this sooner.

Use for bagged dog poo. My garden is once again poo smell free. I don’t know how it works, but it really does

Handle could be a bit stronger but all in all a good little bin with lots of capacity. It lasts a week with 2 of us in the house (we eat a lot of fruit and veg)

Good size and shape for indoors.No dunnage in the box so handle arrived broken.
