Good product
So far I have installed 12 X 24 porcelain in tile in sunroom, 3X6 tile and 2X2 tumbled stone tile in a shower using this tile saw. I have made many cuts and this saw has worked great. It;s not perfect , but what is. Easy to set up and easy to clean. Arrived in a box that looked really bad, but only minor damages to the saw. Highly recommend.

Is not holding up well
This is 4 years after purchase with minimal use. So after sitting in the garage for a couple years the lock that keeps the motor in place for transporting completely sheared in half. I mean the pot metal just tore in half. The handle that is used to move the cutting motor assemble just broke off- the weld broke. Not too happy with this product today. i have used it for perhaps 10 tile jobs since purchase in 2011.

A compromise I wouldn't do again
better than the cheapest saws and the long reach is very helpful when cutting bigger tiles (or medium sized tiles at an angle), but overall quality is poor (e.g. spent forever aligning and realigning the base to ensure 90 degree cuts, laser isn't lined up with blade and is difficult/impossible to align properly - making it effectively useless, had to return the first one when a weld failed and the tank leaked dramatically). I'd recommend buying cheaper for small/simple projects and more expensive for bigger/more complex projects and/or commercial applications, the middle is just that - a compromise. Relatively moderate cost and has some helpful features (long arm, big water tank, strong pump with dual feeds), but it's difficult/impossible to to do a truly professional job, and it's not of a quality that will last in a commercial / professional application.

QEP 830 bridge tile saw
-if you read 'ben's' review, it is a good one, i just thought i'd share my experience, much the same, in a shorter version.the bad:-saw arrived damaged, the 4th one arrived useable, yes, the 4th, order before you need it-laser is useless, spent on hour getting it setup only to find once the water is flying you can't see it anyhow, just turn it off and leave it off-saw is very tippy and awkward to roll on wheels that are too close together-saw is really heavy, if you bench less than 400, it's a 2 person job to carry it (if you have to)-does not cut straight out of the box, need to adjust-blade would stop if i went just a little too fast, on soft travertine tile, can't have much side pressure on blade (to correct cut) or it'll stop-had to drill out water fitting to get flow even to both sides of the blade (bad fitting)the good:-price-the wheels help move a big, heavy thing (2 sets of wheels, one for when it's setup, and one for when it's folded up... very good-good clean cut, out of the box-very stable table, good rubber table top, flat, non slip, comes apart easy to clean-good water: filter, spray, quantity, and control (very little mess off the table)-bridge action was smooth, good handle/control-all in all, like dad said, you get what you pay for. -the chinese got us again, and again, they did a just-passable job.

Worth the purchase
Arrived in good time, Did have some damage by handlers, Was able to repair those slight problems. Seems to have good power and I like the idea of the laser light. My first cut with the arriving stock blade was not impressive causing chipping, purchased a rigid blade and made a much smoother cut. The saw bridge pulls smooth with ease, and there seems to be very if at all spray from water which is great.

The saw is great although bulky for one person to move from jobsite ...
The saw is great although bulky for one person to move from jobsite to jobsite. Had to return first saw shipped due to damage because it is not shipped in packaging meant for shipping. Packaging is not sufficient to prohibit movement of the saw on the bridge, which leaves the saw prone to suffering extensive damage in shipment. Saw blade is not locked down for shipment and movement is bad enough to cause parts breakage and bending of the blade.

Arrived Broken
The saw was not secured in the packing. It rolled back and forth while shipping, thus bending the saw blade and breaking the laser light. I e-mailed the Company for a fix and new blade and they nevr returned the e-mailed or contacted me. The item appears that it could have been a floor model when it stated it was new. NOT HAPPY.
