This is exactly like the picture! I got this as a trial before I go and buy a full corset. I know I have terrible posture and was thinking this would help. It does, but is a little too flexible to prevent my bad posture. However, the constant pressure does help me remember to have better posture. Like the label specifies, this is latex. Which translates to warm! So probably recognize that it will not be comfortable to wear around all day.The item had a slight smell when it came out of the box, but smelled like latex (which it is made out of) and it dissipated quickly. There are no instructions included, but is pretty straightforward in use. If you aren't sure, the curved side goes down and the straight one goes near your bust. I got the large size and easily fixed it on the last set of hooks. One hook was slightly too large for the eye closure, so I crimped it smaller with a pair of jewelry pliers. Then it worked fine. The product is made in Columbia, but other than that not sure why it is called a "Columbian" waist cincher. Seems like a regular one. It is pretty flexible so is comfortable enough to exercise in. After recently gaining some unwanted weight in the belly area, I was looking for some ways to work it off. So when I saw this I thought it was worth a try. I've used my waist trainer everyday with exercise for about a week now and I'm definitely seeing quite a difference. The material is of quality, very sturdy and holds everything in but its still flexible enough to maintain a great level of comfort. I've worked out in my trainer several times and it definitely promotes perspiration with no sliding or rolling up from the bottom or top. My only complaint is having to handwash it every night after my workout, but that is a small price to pay. I find that it works wonders for my posture, as well. Every time I wear it, I feel like I can stand for longer periods of time and when I sit, I'm not constantly shifting around for comfort. While I was very skeptical about about this new fad, I'm very happy with the results thus far (in such a small amount of time, might I add) I look forward to buying a new one, when it is time.
