Works as intended for rog ally x. It was easy to install just take your time. Cooling fans with rgb do have a little noise but it doesn’t matter while wearing headphones. It fits snug onto my rog ally x and with the hard shell on, it doesn’t shake around, it’s secure. I was hesitant on buying this based on previous reviews but I bought it anyway because people be lying and it’s best to test myself. I am doing this review for other’s to know this work perfectly and you won’t want to remove it. It helps with gripping handheld so it doesn’t slip out your hands. Just slide the fan onto the case. You need the case for the fans to be attached and work. It also comes with a backup battery clip. You won’t regret buying this.

I have to say I love this product and the other items from JSAUX. First off for people like myself that were curious, yes this case is actually compatible with JSAUX’s transparent back with the heatsink. It does cover the RGB and the charger for the RGB BUT allows for better thermals which is why I’m buying this in the first place. With a Kryonaut Kryosheet, the back with the heatsink and this case with the fan I’m seeing amazing thermals. At a 20 watt TDP on very demanding games I don’t even crack 60°C. If my ambient temp is lower (AC is turned on) it drops as low as 53°! This fan alone dropped my temps by 6°+, honestly JSAUX just makes some amazing stuff, the ONLY complaint I have is with how my hands sit, I have decent sized hands but not large and sometimes because of the fans my hands can’t stretch out as much as I would like which does cause some hand fatigue, so every so often I have to open my hands completely so that doesn’t happen. If there were bigger grips to put over the case I feel like it would be more comfortable.

So after buying one in early April, in December I stopped using it. Why? Because I enabled the toolbar and found that the temperature of my CPU while on turbo with this case ON and the fan RUNNING was about the same as no case, no fan (70-90 C). What's the point then? Damage prevention, perhaps. But I'd rather have my device naked and quiet. Stopped using this and just bought an ordinary carry case and a dock with fans on it. Switching out for a regular carry case and a dock with a fan for 30W turbo mode.

If I could give this item more stars I would the case is sturdy the fans work amazingly well i did not purchase the battery pack because I have a charger that works perfectly already if you have the charger that comes with the ally x I would suggest grabbing the battery pack or a different charger to support your battery life while using the fans but the stand is made of metal very sturdy well made & works extremely well also overall I give this product a 10/10
