5 star because it is cheaper by £30 than the last one I bought a year ago but more than that this one is running on Android 8.1 so the layout is better and all the apps that I use are the latest running ones. For example, the NordVPN app is a lot easier to navigate than in 7.0.Easy to set up, power cable (supplied), HDMI cable (supplied) and LAN connected then you are off. Log in with your Google sign in or get for one free if you haven't already. Just like your Android phone, all the same apps available but I use this box for Kodi mainly, and Amazon Video, again the AV is much more user friendly than the version on the older OSSupports 4K but I'm running on a Full HD TV. Probably the only think I would recommend with this is that you by yourself a little wireless keyboard at the same time. It makes using something like this so much easier than with the supplied remotes, mind you, this does have voice capability.

this tv box is a MUST have item in my household, I can connect to the Internet and it allow me to stream live TV shows, browse popular websites and access catch-up TV services, such as BBC iPlayer. Effectively, they turned my standard TV into a smart TV also you can use it as an Android computer, just seat on your sofa in front of the TV and enjoy it.the Set-Up was really easy. First I had to plug in the AC adapter then once you plugged in, you have to connect your TV with the HDMI or the AV cable. This TV box is a little monster built with strong integration 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM Rockchip 3328 Quad-core makes this box run super fast. The Box itself came fully installed with Android version 8.1. This Android system works exactly the same as the Android on your phone, after you set up the Wi-Fi settings just log in with your Google account and than Use Google Play Store to download the Apps you required. A few Apps came already install such as: Show box, YouTube, Chrome, G mail, Facebook, Twitter, Email, Calculator, Google+, Firefox, Picasa, MX Player, Netflix and much more! You can use it as a small computer, which is connected, to your TV. You can Browse, Use your Facebook, talk on Skype, check your emails, Play games just same what you do on your Android phone or tablet, but my advise for you to use a keyboard and a mouse other ways will be difficult to type. There is four USB sockets on this Box so you can plug in a wired or a wireless keyboard or mouse, also you can plug in your external hard drive, pendrive, phone etc. Support many video formats such as: AVI, MPG, VOB, MKV, MP4 etc. Also a really nice feature is the built in SD/MMC memory card slot. One of my favourite feature which make this TV box a bit different from the other is the display at the front of the box. Tells you the time and also other information like Wi-Fi connection or if any alarm been set.As I mentioned earlier this product is well-made, professional product. Looks really cool and minimalistic home gadget. I can get the cinema now in my room just from a tiny TV box, can browse online, can Skype with my friends and family, listening music on YouTube etc. If you don’t have money for a fancy Smart TV just buy this TV BOX for this price you can turn your old TV to a Smart TV. Absolutely amazing and value for money I would recommend this product; you will not be disappointed with it. I certainly wasn’t.

I have tested the device for over a week. The test was a practical test and not at all technological in nature. So, I compared the user experience of this device to that of the Xtreamer series (Wonder, Whizz and Wonder 3) which I have access to. These devices are part of a multi-zone multimedia system with Android OS and KODI 17.6 software. Did the test by comparing the behavior of the device when playing HD movies 720/1080p resolution and checking if problems seen on the Xtreamer series would be reproduced on this device.I was surprised to see that the shocking audio behaviors seen on the Wonder 3 when playing a HD movie and skipping the movie forward or backward would not happen on the device. HD movies were playing smoothly without any notable behaviors.Additionally the KODI app would crash regularly on the Wonder 3 running Android 7 after playing certain media files however only crashed once on this device. Which could indicate that the capability between the hardware, OS and Kodi app is better on this device. However, In all likeliness the crashing still has its origin with the KODI app and might be fixed with version 18.Overall very happy with the performance of the device, its small and it has a good price. Certainly would buy it again.I would make only one suggestion for the next version, and that is to make 2 screw holes available in the bottom so it can be easily put on a wall.

Had a slight case of buyers remorse after reading the reviews after purchase. Once the product had been delivered and used for a few hours however that was all gone.It is fast even when pushed and capable it has played every file I have thrown at it including 2160p 60hz sources.Whilst it is only 24hours since delivery I am pleased with the purchase. Shame there is no 802.11ac but that is the only real weakness.Between Aptoide TV and the google play store you can get all major players, as for them being difficult to use people need to think about mini wireless keyboards and bear in mind all these apps are designed for touch screen, at a tenner a pop they are brilliant I have a number for different devices.if I had to be picky I can see the point on build quality but it's nicely finished, I haven't yet managed to get the USB3.0 port to work but the USB2.0's are fast enough even for the 4K sources and there is always the LAN port.Overall at the price point I am delighted with it assuming it lasts then at the price it is outstanding, I have paid significantly more for much less.
