EAAGD Electronic LED Digital Alarm Clock [Upgrade Version], Clock Can Adjust the LED Brightness Automatically in Night (Black/White)

I went for the blue version of this clock, although now with hindsight I wish I'd gone with the green.... never mind.Anyway, it arrives nicely packed with the clock itself, a USB power cord, some instructions (in about 8 different langauges!) and two separate plugs, a standard 3 pin for the UK and a 2 pin European type - nice touch and handy if you are taking it on holiday. There is a battery case (it takes the round CR2032 watch batteries) but unlike what some of the reviews here are saying that's not designed for it to run on battery power, just as a backup for alarm settings etc if you lose power for a short while. I think they must have got confused and not read the instructions properly as I doubt it would last too long on just the battery alone, so it's not designed to be a portable travel clock for obvious reasons.Setting up is easy - plug it in and hold the mode button on the top to set the time and that's it. There 3 levels of brightness for the lights (the medium and top levels are a little too bright for a bedroom, for me at least, so that is a nice touch). There's a night more with automatic dimming too.There's an alarm with snooze too, which you can adjust from a 5 minute snooze to an hour (one hour! that's a hefty snooze which I whole heartily approve of, however my boss may not!), and you can switch between 12 and 24 hour modesThe only thing I would say is I imagined to be a bit bigger - I've included a picture of it next to a can of soft drink so you can see the size for yourself so you don't make my mistake!The good stuff:Looks pretty cool and funky at nightEasy to set time and alarmThe not so good stuff:Not totally sure it justifies the price tag - nearly £25 is a lot of a clock|Not sure about the look in the lightIn conclusion then I'm pretty happy with this. It it had been a tenner cheaper I'd have gone the full 5 stars but it does feel a little cheap for the price tag.

The item is great. Firstly, there are many variations in colour that you can choose from. The main panel can come in black or white and there are many different LED colours. I chose the white frame with green LED. I have been very impressed with the digital clock right from the beginning.The LED clock display has 3 different brightness levels. A great feature of this product is that you can configure it to automatically dim at a certain time, as well as also allowing manual control over this. The clock comes with a pre-defined night time setting where the clock automatically dims between 1800 and 0600. The manual control over the brightness is controlled with the up and down buttons on the top of the unit.There is also a facility to enter alarms into the clock. By reading the manual, it is very easy to set up. Although I do not use the alarm feature of this product, I have tried it and it works fine.It is a nice size and looks great.Inside the box is the clock, a long USB lead, a UK power adapter, a EU power adapter and instruction manuals. It was all well packaged.

A very stylish clock which looks the part mounted on the bedroom wall. A good size for easy reading from a distance of about 15 feet. Seems robust, but as it’s fixed to the wall that wouldn’t be an issue anyway. Only complaint is that it is very bright (too bright for a bedroom). I have fixed that issue very easily by putting some coloured cellophane gels (available on Amazon for about £3 for 48 a4 sheets) over the display so that what was a glaring white is now a nicely subdued pink! Done carefully this is a very neat solution and you get to choose exactly the colour you want!

I bought the black frame with red lighting - it is a good clock. Even our teenage daughter said how 'cool' it looked. Buyers need to be aware that even at it's least bright setting, it fills the room with light at night and can be a distraction to going to sleep if used in a bedroom.

Good size clock but it is very bright even when it is on the lowest brightness and in night mode. Not good for the bedroom which was its intended purpose

Very good, should have got the white one though.
