Q: Why can't Sam and Twitch be shipped to California?

Weird Its got to be some bug error on amazon . try Report incorrect product information link .Im in CA also your right I just checked its in stock to ship now and it gives error on checkout . wont ship to my usual locker or home address message says- Sorry, this item can't be shipped to your selected address. Learn more. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order.

Q: Are the wings removable?

The wings are not meant be removed .But looking closely appears to be simple peg holding it . BE very Careful and you might be able to pop them out if you heat up the plastic area where the holes are pegged into. (Hairdryer or hot water) Problem is you might not be able to get the wings back in if the has lipped edge on the peg or they will become loose and not hold a pose (so possibly a one way trip not knowing what the actual peg looks like) . proceed at you own risk!
