One was wrapped so well I could not undo the spool. No indication of where it started. I cut the cardboard and unraveled it finding that it was packed by weaving the end and twisting it. Would never have found the start of the led.The small led lights are about 4 inches apart. I got them for my parent’s House for Christmas lights around the plants. There’s no sleeve so the wires are exposed but they work in the rain also. Pretty impressive. The light has a slight blue tint to them. They don’t light up areas very well as I tried placing them along the inner porch ceiling and patio. There’s an 8 inch overhand blocking the led. You can’t even see the light from 10 feet away unless you can see the led itself. So if you’re planning on using them to be visible when concealed along your house it won’t be. But for blinking lights on plants you can see them from across the street.Unfortunately both my lights had only 3-4 modes: always on, fading, blinking. It also had a mode where it will run through a few modes.Would be nice if they had more output and could change colors.One of mine was missing a stake end.They light up all night even in the winter in SoCal. Do not have to be in direct sunlight to charge. Only had them for a month, so can’t say much about longevity.

Update: The vendor sent four new sets of lights free of charge. I still have to reinstall them but no complaints about their service or support.Three out of four light sets will not function properly. They have been installed with good direct sunlight for several weeks so it does not appear to be a charging issue.- One light will only switch modes between a all lights on twinkle mode and a very dim 1/2 on mode.- One light will only switch between an alternating 1/2 blinking back and forth and a very dim half-on mode.- One light will only work in a very dim full on mode.The modes that are dim are barely lighted at all and the brightness dims progressively with the brightest lights the farthest from the power box.

These are absolutely beautiful. They have three different modes they can twinkle quickly or twinkle slowly. They are super bright. I put mine in a mason jar and hung it from a tree and it looks like I have fire flies captured in a jar. I immediately ran back to Amazon to order a bunch more but they are sold out. Can't recommend enough. I wanted to submit a picture but I don't see an option to do that with the review.

They work pretty good. They've been up almost 2 months and are still working. The only issue I have is that there's a part of the light strand that has no lights on it and it's almost 3 feet long. I bought them to wrap around on poles and all of the lights are near the bottom, hence the 4 star rating.

I had purchased these solar lights for Christmas decoration in my backyard. As it is solar-powered, no wiring is needed and the lights last long time into the night. Even on cloudy days, it is charged and works decent number of hours. The best thing is that I still have them in my backyard as they still work well and the lights are bright and pretty. It definitely beats dealing with electrical wire/plugs and timers. The solar is way to go. These products are perfect and long lasting.

Look nice easy setup, don't recall a remote control,(asking me about it in review) I've bought several string lights these are only solar ones and I dont have a remote.... but maybe i lost it! Idk they look cool and stay on all night wrapped my porch in them, they are awesome and everything I thought they'd be, I never wanted a remote sooo pffffft!!

They work ok i guess but it was obvious that they were used. Only last a few hours.

I purchased these lights to decorate our backyard. It's been 3 months, and I have been very happy with the lights. They were extremely easy to install, and I was happy that the wire is very flexible so that the lights can be put on pretty much anything (we have them on our fences). I should also mention that we don't get much sun where we live (especially in the winter), but the lights work pretty well even in such condition.
