Only good thing was the price.

It is Great, came in before it was supposed to, and its amazingly made good metal and also had good weight but a little heavy. The only thing that I would complain about is the latch that holds them together will hit your hand if not careful but it is amazing quality and comes with two. would buy again.

2/10/2026 Note: I am a skilled balisong flipper and I do tricks frequently with different kinds of balisongs/butterfly knives. I bought these a short while back, maybe around October of 2025, they came in good quality and held together nicely despite many months of rough use. I lost the red comb so I bought another pack because the comb was actually good. HOWEVER, the new ones came in today and they are not like the old ones at all. The photo below shows the old vs new models of the balisongs and the old version has better attention to detail and held together well even after a few months of dropping and rough use. The new one is too stiff despite adding a bit of lube (as tested in the video) and didn't feel good to hold, neither of the new knives would close all the way either when held in open/unsheathed grip, and the lock will not reach either. Overall, don't get these anymore. If they went back to the recent version then I would consider actually buying it again.

Okay, these things are SO cool. They are so fun and satifying to fidget with. Out of the box, they feel solid, quite premium. Within just a few minutes though, the knife begins falling apart. The screws at the bottom of the handles keep loosening until eventually they fly out and your favorite toy is effectively broken. I had to electrical tape mine to keep both halves of the handles together. At the top of the handle, the screws become so loose that the two handles wiggle out of alignment. Overall it just becomes so loose that it’s no longer precise- and that makes it hard to “practice” with. The screws that keep this knife handles together really should be improved, or possibly even changed out with rivets (at least the bottom ones).

Cute idea to make it a comb, such a shame it is so shoddy; practically breaks taking it out of the package. Didn't last 2 minutes. Incredibly bad construction. Picture shows how the pieces of the handle are apart - tiny screws coming out with every other swing. Tried to tighten/replace, and that lasted another 20 swings before they were spilling out again. If you're just going to look at it and never use it, then this is your best pick-the design printed on it was appealing. The weight wasn't awful, but I downgraded it because it fell apart while testing the balance. AVOID

My sons wanted to practice flipping. They love them.

Had it for maybe 2 months and it broke. Became very loose and then the pins fell out.
