I've bought a 'belgium' style waffle maker before, but the waffles came out more like eggo's. does this make the deep-dish, thick belgium waffles?

The product delivered is defective and black and decker has no service centre in India for consumer durables. So you are not entitled to a repair , replacement or refund.
