I noticed in the instructions that it says not to lean against this heating pad. i would never have bought it if i'd known that! is sunbeam serious?
Why doesn’t the pad heat up in the front?...shouldn’t it heatup everywhere of the pad?
How do you wash this thing? Do you leave that little attachment cord on?

If your heating pad has a removable and washable fabric cover: (if there is no cover, please proceed to step 4) 1. Lay the fabric cover on a flat surface with the print face down. 2. Insert the pad into the cover completely. Make sure the cable and switch remain on the outside of the case. 3. The pad will lie flat, filling the entire cover. WARNING Never use the heating pad without the fabric cover. 4. Plug into any 120-volt AC electrical outlet and turn the switch to the ON position. 5. Select the desired level of heat and/or massage. To turn off, scroll through the remaining heat and/or massage settings by pressing the buttons sequentially. 6. Wait for the pad to warm up. 7. Avoid sitting or crushing the pad. Avoid bending during use
Safety Warning
Do not connect the pad and connector until they are completely dry.

Eventually, the pad is ruined. Over the years, I've ruined three that way. I'm now on my 4th.
