y square footage, 2-3 pounds of Down To Earth Blood Meal 12-0-0 will cover 100 square feet, so a 50 lb bag would be appropriate for 1650- 2500 square feet. By volume, 1-2 teaspoons of Blood Meal can be used per gallon of soil, and there are roughly 3000 teaspoons in a 50 lb bag. I've had excellent luck keeping rabbits and deer out of my garden with blood meal. Haven't used this brand yet, but see no reason why it wouldn't work.

Q: Does it take long to get your nitrogen levels right using this? Like if my N is low can I apply it today and be good to go in a week or 2 for planting
