It's okay
Squeaks and sways. Finally failed after 4 years of use -- one of the welds connecting a support horizontal bar broke. So now it sways a LOT (instead of just a little) while we look for a new frame.3 stars because it held up for 4 years under approx 900 lbs worth of adult, child, and mattress weight.

GREAT function and storage feature
Needed more storage and this works great. Tall enough to slide full size Rubbermaid plastic storage containers underneath. Cleaned out my closets and now have lots more space. Highly recommend.

Easy assembly & super sturdy!
First off, I’m the least handy person. I have a tool box with a hammer, one flathead screwdriver, and the screwdriver that isn’t flat (it’s like a star or + or something) and that’s it.Second, I am a single woman.AND…I put this thing together myself! It took maybe 30 minutes and it has not broken yet. Super sturdy so I could do whatever I want with the bed and not worry about it it breaking. I also like how tall it is, so I can fit a bunch of storage stuff under it. Finally, I don’t have a box spring, and this works just fine with a regular Queen size mattress alone.Best bed frame.

Sturdy after two years
Update: My mother has had this for a two years now and it hasn't broken (or bent). She is disabled and uses it most hours of the day.I'm not feeling too certain about this bedframe. I already have a Zinus 18" smartbase (going on 3yrs with ~500lbs weight) and my mother requested this shorter, sturdier base after she saw mine.Setup: This came with the headboard brackets and an organized tool/hardware packet. The bolts and nuts were a bit tight fitting resulting in 8 painful tightening to get the two queen pieces together (and the brackets on). The bolt with the wingnuts and crossbeam from the legs were super tight to get on, but I did it. It took me about 30mins to put it all together by myself. I bought some sterilite 18.5”W x 29.5”L x 13.5"H containers (90 quart, Target $9.99 & 100 quart, Walmart both fit). You can fit 6, 3 in front and 3 in back with space... Which means the feet are more than 30" apart. We used her 10" pocket coil mattress with a 2" foam topper. I used 4 of those $1 shelf liners (Dollar Tree) to make it so the mattress didn't slide off the frame (the metal is too slick without something).Impressions: The metal seemed a bit thin and it looks like tack welds. I'm honestly a little worried since it will have ~315lbs and some ~100lbs kids lounging on it (potentially at the same time). None of those rougher activities. I had my mom roll on it and it made not a peep (you really gotta tighten the wingnuts for that silence), but the bedframe sure wobbled around more than I thought it should...I guess time will tell. We plan on getting a Zinus 48”H headboard for it. We measured and are hoping it will fit.

Great investment, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
The frame came undamaged and I was very happy about that. The instructions and tools to complete the installation were included. But, the manufacturer picture of the frame on Amazon is different from the instructions due to the fact that you have to connect 2 bases together if you do not order a twin sized frame. If you look at the Amazon picture of the frame, it looks like one whole piece. As you can see from the instructions, this is not the case. Step 3 of the instructions, shows you that you have to screw a connecting joint between the two bases in order for a non-twin bed to fit. Plus, the nuts that are used to attach the joint do not fully screw onto the screws. The nuts turn 2 revolutions, then stop. The 3rd & 4th pictures I uploaded shows the joint connection between the bases and you can see that the connections is not tight. I have slept of the bed for a week now, and I have not had a problem with this. Also, when you have to lower the support arms (step 2) and secure them with the wingnuts, you may have to unscrew the wingnuts off of the screws because some of the support arms do not extend enough to latch onto the bolts. I had to use the bottom of a glass candle holder in order to get some of the support arms to latch on. You may want to get a hammer instead of a glass object. A bit of a challenge, but I am happy with my purchase. I am using an inner-spring mattress and have experienced no sliding or sagging with the base.

This bed frame is perfect!!!!
I cannot rave about this bed frame enough. We have had it for about a year now? Maybe two? I hate writing product reviews soon after purchase and this bed is stable, supportive, quiet and provides more than enough storage. I emphasize quiet.Biggest pain in the posterior is that the mattress slides but amazon sells metal (they’re called gaskets) brackets you can clip to the frame that prevents this from happening. The grip pads don’t work the best. The frame is .5, not 1” so make sure you get the right ones if you go that route. The zinus headboard/footboard brackets work for this bed as well should you need more brackets.Full size plastic totes fit under it as well as our luggage when it’s not in use. We also keep wrapping paper and a small safe under it. Our bed has a bed skirt so it’s not obvious.
