I really love this book. It contains a lot of worksheets for students to use throughout the summer to help practice essential skills. Inside the book there is an activity tracker that allows students to be responsible for monitoring their own learning which can help them develop a sense of purpose. The book doesn’t prevent them from having summer fun. Each week they have different activities to focus on covering math, social studies, science, reading or enrichment. Each day is only 1 page that is front and back. The simplicity of the lessons ensure students are not forced to work all day. Additionally each page gives you the three digit could to finding the corresponding lesson on the IXL website and the book offers you a special offer for IXL to continue the learning.

Great resource for the classroom. Has a little bit of everything I use this for morning work. It’s just enough to get your morning started.

This was a great purchase for the summer for my kids I didnt want them to lose what they learned during the year and it gave them something educational to do over the summer instead of just watching t.v great summer practice to make sure they dont forget skills learned through out the year!

My son transitioned to homeschool in the last 3 months of 3rd grade last year and this book is a nice way to get back into the idea of school for 4th. Soon we will get back into more math and reading comprehension but this book is a great way to wake his mind up from summer break and get back into the swing of things.

Great material for my elementary aged kid to work through during the summer. He did it every morning and I think it has helped him retain everything he learned from last year.

I bought this book for my struggling 10 year old son. It is a great book for reluctant children. We just do a little bit at a time. We have integrated this into our homeschooling to break up the monotony.

This is a great idea to bring out summer activity IXL …there is a lot of workpages that can help keep your child’s mind active and get them ready for the next grade level that they will be going. Good price, answer key in the back of the book, a lot of fun activities to keep busy during the summer in just about every subject. I have been a big fan of IXL and good education and IXL fits that criteria. Worth the purchase.
