DCT Riffler File Riffler Rasp 8-Piece Set for Whittling, Sculpting, Smoothing, Shaping, Filing, Cutting Wood and Metal

These are very inexpensive and the quality shows that. The ones I received were banged up on the cutting part. Even if they were sharp they would be an 8 or 9 for coarseness which is as rough as it gets for rasps. The pouch is nice. If you want them to just remove wood and don't mind doing a lot of sanding these are a good buy. Considering what they cost they are a bargain compared to higher quality riffler. I paid $36 to $44 for each one of my other set of rifflers

I have not had much opportunity to use them, but much nicer than a lot of the others that I have used. I brought them to use on some wood carving projects. So far, I have used them on a spoon that I carved out of Walnut. They worked beautifully and I am very pleased with the results.

Took some getting used to but work good. wish the cutting edges were a little closer together is my only negative.

Easy to use , but only used them on wood . Did a good job but wish they were a bit longer

Bought these for myself & a friend to use during wood carving. Does a great job. Would buy again. Most carvers in our class use them.

Cheap, cheaply

I didn't realize how rough these are. Be aware that they are VERY coarse. I don't think they could even be used for metal. Anyway, at least I now have some hardenable steel to use for some other project...
