Good quality nib holder
Nice design with a comfortable grip. Works as advertised. I like the fact that it comes with a cap.

So glad I got this one!
This is my first dip pen and I was a bit unsure about getting this one because I wasn't sure if I'd like the squishy foam part (I'm not a fan of those on pencils), BUT that's not really what it feels like at all. It's a thin layer over the wood, so it's not squishy, but provides a slightly softer, more comfortable place to hold than if it was just the wood. This nib holder also takes both sizes of nibs. I only have one kind so far - the Zebra G nib - but it holds it really well, while also making it super easy to take the nib out. I like that it comes with a cap, too, and the cap actually posts (chunks onto the back end), which I wasn't expecting! I don't know what else I could ask for with this, plus the price is low enough that I don't feel bad getting ink on it. Love it and highly recommend it, especially if you're just starting out with these, like me!

Great nib holder
Got it for a kikimori nib, fits great. The grip on the handle is real nice too. Great buy.

Nice feel, fits well
I use it with Braise nibs and they hold very well. I love the way it sits in my hand and the rubber feels good, however it is already coming off in places after one month of (admittedly frequent) use. I mostly use it with masking fluid.

Fits the Kakamori brass or stainless steel nib
It's an inch longer than the T-25 and comes with a cover for the nib. It also has that blue gripper which is nice. I have both the T-25 and this one the T-40. Both are well made with a nice finish to the wood. And are reasonably priced (affordable).

The best value nib holder I've found!
For the value, you can't beat this nib holder! It has a nice, soft grip section so that your hand doesn't tire after a few hours of inking/drawing with this nib holder, and you can keep your favorite drawing/writing nib in the holder due to the safety cap that is included with it! Just make sure not to push too hard on the plastic cap, as that may be the reason why your holder gets damaged towards the grip (or the reason why the cap may break). The wooden parts of the nib holder are actually quite sturdy, but also quite wide compared to most other nib holders on the market. It would be best to have a wide-mouth ink reservoir to dip from if you plan to use this nib holder often. Overall, get yourself a few of these, or give them as gifts to that artist/calligrapher friend—you know they will appreciate it, because I sure do!

Very Nice! T-40 Preferred over T-30 and T-25
Great product. Great price. Holds various sized nibs. If the nib is slightly loose, I apply a small piece of masking tape to the base of the nib and it holds securely. I like the T-40 as it is longer and better balanced than the shorter T-30 and T-25. Great product!

Nice ergonomic nib holder - love the cap!
A nice quality nib holder that will work with any of the comic-type nibs (Nikko), including the G-pen sized nibs as well as the smaller, round Maru mapping nib.The inside portion is a hard plastic that the nibs fit securely in without any wobble. The cap is enough of a reason to buy this nib holder; I don't know why more companies don't include caps, but it makes the pens easy to transport and much safer to store...protecting both the nib and your hand or fingers. If you're planning on using your pen on location somewhere to write or sketch, this is the one you want to get.
