2 lb California Motherlode Gold Paydirt Bonanza Bag Contains Gold,Silver & Platinum

I enjoyed the how to video and panning successfully to get some chunky pieces as well as lots of flake left in the tailings. I would go do this for a couple hours each day to relax. I believe I found some form of gold or silver in just about every pan. Some is too small for me to collect until I get a little better at it. Learning to use the snuffer bottle has been a little bit of a challenge, but I’m getting the hang of it. As I learn more about what I’m looking at, I will pull more stuff out.How about a video on all the stuff you might see other than gold and silver? I don’t know what platinum looks like.

Had a great time with this dirt. Found .4 grams of gold and found .4 grams of silver and or platinum. Not sure if it was all silver or a little of both.but id buy this stuff again. Its a lot of fun. Really gives you the feeling of prospecting.update just did another bag of tjis stuff and had amazing time with it. Found 1.5 grams of silver crystals. Found .34 of gold and .15 of platinum. Found gold and silver and every pan and few pans had a little platinum in it. It pans just like gold itll show the same time. Its just as heavy as gold its greyish silver color sometimes it blackish or black and its magentic also. So if you use a magent to clean your material check your magnetic stuff and have fun

I ended up with a little over half a gram of gold, or 0.0177 oz, which is worth at the time of writing this around $27. As for silver, quite a bit but it's worth less than a dollar so it's just cooler to look at. As far as platinum goes, there's no straight up distinguishable platinum. What you got is a bunch of white crystal looking rocks, which I assume is silver, and nothing that looks like melted aluminum. There's also a bunch of rocks that look like regular rocks that I'll do more research on to see if maybe I'm just uneducated on this type of raw platinum and redo the dirt again to make sure. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that there's platinum here, and that I just don't know enough, and that's my own fault here if that's the case. But so far for a $50 bag, I ended up (without any platinum counted) to have a $30ish return, which isn't bad counting in gas money and such to go out and search for gold. Like I said, I plan to redo it and get any microscopic gold out as well just to say I did it. For a disclaimer, this was my first time trying out panning, but after a ton of research and such so this should be relatively all the gold there is in here. It was pretty mixed in, mostly sand, and not as much gold as I was expecting to see visually. But after weighing it and surprising myself that this super tiny amount was worth that much, I'm quite happy with my finds. I would recommend giving this a try. But do your research on platinum first, or find some platinum first so that you can tell the difference, otherwise you're missing out like I am currently.

If your looking for practice this is fine. Don’t expect to find anything of real value. You might get approx.035g. But have fun and learn!

Not much of anything in the paydirt only 3 little flakes of gold 2 little pieces of silver and no platinum at all hope you're luck is better than mine

I used several screens then dry panned the concentrates, got a lot of silver and some gold out, even a picker!The platinum will take more time to sort out.
