These work great. Wanted easy access for charging phones in the guest bedroom. Installed these in the night stands. Super easy to install, drill hole, insert the receptacle in the night stand and tighten down with the screw on ring.

Great product! I love using this on my desk. I no longer have to continuously switch out my cords and plug in my phone. I can keep the cords plugged in and nearby. I also have my bluetooth speaker plugged in at the same time so no switching out cords any more.

This product is an excellent addition to a kitchen island. I just remodeled our kitchen and installed two of them on the sides of the island cabinetry in lieu of the ugly traditional duplex outlets typically used in walls. The USB and USB-c outlets are a real plus too. The heavy power cord and plug can easily handle a 20 amp circuit which is typically required in kitchens. The only negative is the plastic threads on the units body are too shallow and thus the plastic nut tends to slip off the threads when tightening it down.

My basic test results: I purchased 2 of these in October 2023 to replace broken ones from my recliners. These have the same diameter and that made the replacement very quick and easy. Using a cheap Android phone to determine fast charging: 5 volts = no (even when trying a 5V/10A adapter) 9 volts = yes 12 volts = assumed yes Since the information on the item page clearly states that the USB-A port only provides 5 volts , it caught me by surprise that my phone would indicate fast charging from both of the USB ports on the grommet. I stripped a USB-A to USB-C cable and connected a multi meter to the 2 wires that provides the charging power. I plugged 1 end of the charging cable to my phone and the other end to the USB-A port on the grommet and the multi meter reads 5 volts but just 1-2 seconds later, the multi meter reading goes up to 9 volts. The same thing happens when I plugged the charging cable between the USB-C port and my phone. Since the grommet can only serve 1 of the USB ports at a time, I assume it is the same circuit that provides the power to both of the ports. I also assume that both of the USB ports on the grommet can provide 12 volt charging voltage but due to limitations of my phone, my phone never received 12 volts from any port on the grommet. *Also something worth mentioning is that you should only plug 1 charging cable to the grommet at a time. If you are leaving an unused charging cable plugged into the USB-C port while using a charging cable plugged into the USB-A port, you might experience the USB-A port strictly providing 5 volts (no fast charging). Both grommets are in almost daily use by phones and tablets.
