This was exactly what I was looking for. I spent a long weekend at a B&B in New Orleans, and the bathroom was stocked with special black hand towels (w/‘makeup’ embroidery) to save their lighter towels from makeup stains.These are 100% cotton so expect some color run-off until it goes through a few washes & rinses. I’ve used one several times & so far they are still soft & pretty much lint-free.If you own vacation rentals, you should consider purchasing a few. I didn’t need a lot of 6 or 12 as some are sold, so this pk of 4 was perfect for me, best value for my money (fixed-income). The two best linens you can buy, if you can afford them are, first: Egyptian cottin. Second, Turkish cotton. But Turkish products, guns, textiles, steel, etc, are somewhat less expensive while being if very good quality. Turkey is really coming up on the global market as a known entity for high quality manufactured goods at reasonable prices. AND, thay are staunch allies of the United States.Now,about these towels. I was thrilled when I washed them and dried them. I followed the laundering instructions, and they came out nice and fluffy and absorbent without using ant softening agents. I only used some scent crystals in the was water to give the bathroom a fresh smell from the towels as they lay stacked and folded in there. I now have a fully matched set, and gave away all my old mismatched bath linens to my son. You've got to get these. They're not that expensive. And properly cared for, should last you a few decades. Seriously.

These towels exceeded my expectations. They are not 'spa quality', not at this price, but they are very close. They are nicely absorbent and dry quickly. They are as soft as my old thick expensive towels.The packaging did flatten the air out of them so they seemed thin upon arrival, but a cold water wash and dry fluffed them up...and they stay fluffed up. The machine wash and dry process also took less time than my older towels did.

I absolutely love these towels! They certainly lived up to the positive reviews too. I laundered them as I do all my laundry. I use a name brand, original powder detergent. Then vinegar in the final rinse. And the finale was using wool dryer balls I had previously bought on Amazon.The results were very soft and fluffy towels! They definitely shed quite a bit while drying and take a bit more time. Which I totally expected, so it's not a negativeThese towels were true to the color I ordered. Zero faults in the fabric or sewing. Incredibly absorbent and fast drying. I got two 4 packs and you can't beat the price! These are luxurious towels without the high price tag.

Super soft after a couple of washings and a perfect size for me. It's not the huge bath sheet style, but I prefer this size. Good selection of colors and the color I chose is accurate to what I received. I wouldn't hesitate to order these again when I need more.

So far I absolutely love these!! Not too thick not too thin and they don’t shed all over the damn place!! You wouldn’t think picking out towels would be difficult but it’s super frustrating when you’re ordering online lol. Plan on getting the rest of the set!

These are beautiful fluffy, plush towels. The color is not as dark and not as bright as the picture. They are a gorgeous, subdued olive green color. Great value for the money.

These towels are definitely bath sheets, not towelsVery nice size and overall quality is good. Straight from the package they are not very absorbent, and my husband was not initially impressed. However, after washing them and adding some softener, they did fluff up a little and we’re more absorbent.I personally believe the size also made him feel like they were thin, because they are so much bigger than a regular bath towel.
