Dorel Living Jaya Accent Chair, Beige

First time I’ve ever bought such inexpensive furniture. I expect to replace them next spring so I didn’t want to spend $1,000/chair. I was really impressed by the trouble Dorel went to packaging legs & instructions in a little “marsupial pouch” on the underside if each chair. In addition, they were beautifully wrapped each in its own poly drawstring protective bag and separate stuffing in the box to help prevent smashing in the event of rough handling. I’ve ordered furniture from companies charging 6 times the cost of one Dorel chair and they didn’t come close to the level of professionalism of Dorel. They reiterate that Customer Satisfaction is their most important goal and to contact them immediately if I had any questions or concerns. The enclosed product info brochure and instruction sheet was explicit and well designed. These guys could teach the rest of the industry how to make a product presentation.💁🏻😃. The chair is scaled down version of a club and has a firm seat with an upright back. Perfect for reading with your feet up in front of the fire (our cottage in Maine on the water). I would love to see a fabric upgrade option added to their chairs and sofas. These are also easy to make slipcovers for from a pair of Ikea canvas drapes ($28). Keep Dorel in mind next time you are looking for furniture.

For starters, the chairs are very pretty! They have a very coastal feel. They seem well made for the price. The material might be a tad rougher than expected, but still nice. The white isn't quite as white as the picture, so if you're looking for bright white, this isn't it. Assembly was super easy and that was a huge plus. I gave it three stars because one of the chairs has this weird line across the front and sadly they aren't very comfortable. They don't sink down when you sit in them so you basically just sit on top. All in all, if you are looking for chairs that you won't sit in often, them these are great!

I love love this chair. It added a bit of pattern to the room without it being to bold. The finish on the chair will have you thinking it's a $500 chair. the style gives you space to play with other furniture pieces and colors. It was also so easy to assemble. It comes practically built! The only thumbs down for me is the comfort. I was looking for a chair I could sit in the corner and read a book on, and this is not it. It's stiff and so hard. I understand it's probably for looks reasons, but I'm a bit sad about that. Otherwise, if it's just a decorative piece you are looking for to put in a room....This is the perfect chair.

Chairs are easy to put together and do look nice. However... I'm literally stunned that anyone would write they are comfortable. The seat part is like a rock and back portion is short and hard. Everyone that sits in them literally laughs out loud on how "hard" the seating is. Would recommend not to buy unless they are just for looks.

It is very heavy and not easy for 1 person to carry themselves but the chair itself is so lovely and changes the look of a room. It is not the most comfy chair but totally worth the price. I love it.

Chair is cute and looks great in my space but it is VERY firm. If you’re wanting a chaise that is comfy and cozy, this is not the chair for you
