I’m overall very happy with this Smith machine. The assembly was a bit tricky at first because a few parts didn’t line up perfectly, but after reaching out to the seller, they were quick to respond and helped resolve the issue. Their customer service was fantastic- they were patient, professional, and made sure everything was taken care of. Now that it’s fully set up, the machine works great and feels sturdy. I really appreciate the seller’s willingness to make things right. I’d definitely order from them again!

Bought this so I didn’t have to go to the gym and could just go into my garage when it was convenient since I work from home. The whole family has been using it. I’ve been working out for more than 30 years and am not looking to see how much I can lift I just wanted a way to do many different things without a bunch of dumbbells all over the place. I think this is very well built, sure not commercial grade but very solid. I’m pretty handy and have put together many things over the years and this one wasn’t really that hard. It took patience and cross referencing both the manual and Amazon video. I made the mistake of not seeing that they offered the same model with upgraded pulleys for like $100 more. The plastic pulleys aren’t that bad but I got the upgraded aluminum ones and they are noticeably better. I also replaced the ‘O’ shaped locking hooks with carabiners but that’s a personal preference. We couldn’t be happier with the Donow system and I think it’s quite a bargain for what you get.

Great machine for the money. Me and my wife are loving this setup, so many different work out possibilities. The pulley system does have a decent amount of drag but I can’t really complain at this price point. Also, I am already maxing out the 160lbs plate stack doing back workouts. This is bc the 2:1 pulley ratio. At the time I didn’t know there was a difference. If I would’ve known this I would’ve bought the more expensive model w/ the metal plates bc that version is a 1:1 pulley ratio. The machine was easy to assemble. Like other reviews, I built it in 3 hr sprints over 3 days. No missing parts and the customer service was great from Jane!

So when I first received this machine I had some issues with the deliver and missing parts due to the box being torn by deliver company. But I wrote customer service and they sent me the parts right away and made it right. So I really appreciate the customer service. They actually write back and seem to care which is awesome. Not I’ve had this machine and have actually been using it now for over a month. Overall, I gotta say this machine works flawlessly. The functional trainer, pulleys, and cord work perfect no issues at all. And the math machine is smooth. I’m not gonna lie this machine works way better than I expected. This is probably the best purchase that I’ve made from Amazon. And this company there machine is legit I love it. And the attachments that come with it are really good quality as well. So overall I gotta say the machines is awesome. Customer service and functionally are a win for me. Thank you for fixing all my issues and responding fast. Totally appreciate it.

Very happy with the DONOW gym. Was some work putting together but not that bad. Had an issue with a part that was replaced in just a few days. I also upgraded to the aluminum pulleys, I love the way they look and they are very smooth. I would definitely buy again, quality machine at a very good price with exceptional customer service.

Works well! The assembly went faster than I anticipated, although you should have a good set of ratcheting wrenches on hand ahead of time (this will help a lot), and also having 2 people will make this go more smoothly. There are a lot of pieces, but luckily the big ones form the foundation and become part of the structure quickly while building - so you aren’t taking up loads of space at that point. Building the cable parts are a bit tricky but the video helps with that (just search donow smith machine on youtube). Overall this is a very solid and well-build piece of equipment and does everything as advertised.
