Durable
I have owned several Newport Boats over the years. Never wore one out, just kept moving and selling them. For the money these are great boats. Not the top of the line, I would rate Seamax HD as the best inflatable on the market, but they are almost twice the price. The price of all inflatables over the past few years have gone drastically up, but the quality of the Newport has remained consistent or maybe improved. I had a few West Marine RIB’s too, their price point has almost doubled, not worth it. These boats are. Also, the Newport wheels are much better than the cheaper ones if you are looking to move it around.

After 5 months -- so far so good; ALMOST five stars...
Having bought many low cost PVC dinghies for a bare-boat charter service in addition to some higher-end RIBs for personal use, I am giving this one pretty high marks after the first four months, based mostly on very high construction quality. Actually, I don't think I've seen a better built PVC boat for the money. One thing that is REALLY appreciated (and unusual in my experience) are the very thick and rugged ribbed skid-guards on the bottoms of the tubes near the transom. The only thing I dislike is the design choice of oversized (18-inch) tube diameters -- why was that necessary? This makes the boat look a little fatty-goofy, reduces space inside and seems totally unnecessary from a functional perspective. What am I missing here? If someone from Newport can explain this design choice, I'll edit my review...Another little complaint -- the pump included is really cheap. It doesn't work well on the air-floor, which is supposed to be inflated to 6-8psi, and it does not include a pressure gauge. Fortunately I had a better pump handy.Overall, a very nice boat, and an excellent boat for the money.Of course the real test will be to see how the glued joints (transom, floor, D-rings) hold up...I'll be back to report next year.

Not happy. Very disappointed.
Would be a good raft if it didn’t come damaged and missing parts. I spent over $1000 I am pretty disappointed!!!!! The package delivered was absolutely damaged. There is a leak in the drop stitch air flow bed. I am missing both oars! What am I supposed to do with a raft that has a leak in it let alone use a raft that came with no paddles?!?! Not happy.

Great lightweight dingy
This 9 foot inflatable dingy is a fine product. I wanted an inflatable that supports mounting an electric outboard motor on the transom, that I could carry up a 15 foot high gravel bank by myself, and that had seating for at least three. The Seascape II Air Mat Floor Inflatable has worked very well during four months of use, carrying us from the shore to our moored power boat, taking us on excursions up to a mile from our beach, and being carried down and up a trail with a 115 foot elevation gain at the beginning and end of our boating season. All summer we leave this boat on the beach, and in the off season we store it in our garage. It is easier to carry with two or three people, but I have been able to move it by myself numerous times. If you want a durable light weight inflatable with a V-hull (via an inflated "rib" under the inflatable floor that pushes the hull into a V-shape), that handles well with or without a motor, this Newport Vessels product is a great choice.

Solid and sturdy!
Initial impression is that it seems to be Extremely high quality materials. Took a while to ship and after titling it I was informed it was a 2018 model. ???I also think it needs a second seat. Just got my 5HP propane motor and ready to test it out.

Well Made
Lighter than a Dinghy with a wooden floor at 75 lbs its very stable even in 3 foot waves. I use a 6 HP Suzuki outboard on it, weight 55 lbs and the transom handles that weight no problem. It doesn't plane, only goes about 5 mph but that's OK for my purposes. I've seen video of this boat at plane going 12 mph with a 10 HP outboard, one person, but a hundred pound outboard is more weight than my back can handle. On a sailboat you have to be able to take off the outboard and pull this boat onboard. A 55 lb outboard is my maximum because you have to lift it off and on, a 75 lb boat is also my max.

This is a HEAVY dingy, you should keep that in mind.
It's heavy, very HEAVY. However, it is a good product.

High sides get a high five from my family.
exactly as advertised, rows more easily than I predicted. Moves right along with my electric motor (55), High sides make it user friendly for my wife and kids. Looks strong and durable enough. I am happy!!!
