Super Lube - Multipurpose Grease 0.5 oz. Translucent White

Great lube, does the job perfectly for my 3d printer. Small size but you only need the tiniest of dabs.

The packaging seem original so no reason to say otherwise, The item arrived undamaged and unopened. I hope they stock locally for faster delivery.

I have a Bionaire tower fan that suddenly stopped blowing air, so I disassembled it, opened the motor housing, cleaned out all the dust, dirt and pet hair that had collected in and around all the mechanical parts, and in the process I ended up having to remove all the manufacturer's thick mechanical grease that allows the mechanical parts to rotate and spin properly. I've never had to replace grease in a tower fan or device that needs to have multiple components constantly rotating at high speeds before, so I had no idea what type of grease I needed that would keep everything lubricate properly without getting all gunked up or not lasting long enough to keep the fan functioning through at least a few more Arizona summers. And since I wasn't sure what type of grease would work best I didn't want to spend a bunch of money only to opening it and find out it wasn't the grease I needed. This seemed like the right type of grease and because the price was right and it comes in a small enough tube that I wouldn't be too disappointed if it didn't work out, so I decided to give it shot. This ended up working great, my fan works like it's brand new again. Just in time for the hottest, longest stretch of summer.

I originally bought this because of a recommendation to use it when refurbing vintage Mac floppy drives. It was a bit more expensive than 3-in-1 oil or another non-synthetic lube but the performance and ability to use a minimal amount made it well worth it. You don't want much lube at all in the drive as it could get on a disk and creates an area to collect dust. I used very little so I tried it on my lawn mower linkage and it worked great there too. Amazingly it didn't' get full of dust and clippings. I'm not sure why, whether being synthetic matter but it is nice. So I used a good squirt of it on. my paddle boat pedals which are always getting wet and again, amazingly it hasn't washed off at all and the action is perfect. The best part - even after looking for other stuff to lube around the house I still have more than enough for my original reason for buying it! I highly recommend it and am sure that it will perform just as well for others uses as well.
