Update 2/13/2016I want to change one of the negative to a positive. The bottom taper of the bag does serve a purpose. Similar packs have an exterior pocket. It is typically only useful when the pack itself is only partially filled. If the pack is full, the outer pocket is mostly for decoration. Vanquest designed this pouch such that the outer pocket has usable space, even when the main pack is full. It is easy to add and remove items from this pocket when the pouch is full. The end result is that, instead of the pouch bulging when items are in the pocket, the profile is more rectangular - much like a normal pouch. Great design, not a flaw.BackgroundI wanted a pack to carry my daily personal medical supplies. The pack is not used for organizing every day (utilitarian) items. Although, it would be good for that as well. I have tried a number of packs prior to this, including: Maxpedition (Fatty and Beefy); Condor (Rip-Away Pouch); and Vanquest (EDM Maximizer). These were all good packs.. The problem, for me, was that my needs require a lot of loops and reasonable capacity. The Maxpeditions and Condor lacked the needed organization. The Vanquest EDM had much of the organization, but needed just a little bit more capacity.NegativesThere are only two minor negatives to report. The zippers are initially quite stiff. This appears to be by design. The zippers are very easy to "rip" open, but are a, initially, difficult to zip closed. Using this pack several times a day, the zippers have loosened up and move a lot better. Still, a little still when closing the top, but that is improving, too.The second little nit is that the the bottom of the pack is tapered. You can see this from the side shots available online. This taper removes some space at the bottom of the pack. Not a big deal. Just be aware if you are used to placing items in the bottom "hinge" of a pack. It won't work here.BenefitsOrganization. This pack has loops for days. What is particular noteworthy is that the "wings" or sides of the pack also have expansion loops. This is nice as it provides a way to store some extra items that won't fall out when the pack is opened.Capacity. Overall, the Condor has more space. The Condor is really ideal for large unstructured items like bandages and medium sized bottles. The STIM Maximizer works (much) better for thinner items. In my case, it holds everything that was in the EDM, plus a few more items. This means that I only need to carry one pack instead of two.OverallThis is a very good pack. It serves my immediate needs for daily carry. The other packs have been repurposed. Some are still part of my EDC, but this is part of my core carry.RecommededAbsolutely.

I bought this to go on my Kifaru Zippy backpack. The Wolf Gray isn't a perfect match but it is very very close. Materials and durability of this pouch seem very good, and I really like the organization. Design wise I'd change 2 things. First, I'd add one more row of molle at the top so that when you put the pouch onto a bag it fits flush top to bottom. There's about an inch of the pouch at the top that sags out from the bag a little allowing the possibility of it snagging on something. Second, more hook and loop on the front. ( just a very personal preference). I like having more space for patches. Maybe just a 2x2" square below the vanquest logo.Fit and Finish I only noticed one tiny problem. The loop tabs at the bottom were sewn on unevenly. It's barely noticeable, and does not affect the function of the pouch in any way. Probably a rare flaw on this one pouch, and not even worth exchanging the pouch for.All that being said, I really like this pouch. It holds and organizes a lot of gear and it looks really good on the pack without being clunky and bulky.

The material and design are great, but the zippers catch when it it's empty and they're really to light weight for the size of the pouch. I didn't have confidence that the zippers would last long wi it packed up. Sadly it's on it's way back...

Simply love this organizer. It holds all my flyaways stuff. It has so much room I can barely find everything to put in it. It's well-built again another fine product from vanquest.

This organizer was perfect. It holds loads of stuff and keeps it all in view so you can easily grab what you want. Build quality is great for the price

Fantastic organizer. Picked up several in different colors. Lets me to different kits in each one and ID them at a glance. Going to have to buy more.
