Doesn't work like it’s original broken one even and if you push a button the button beside it responses but not that button so it is terrible and you have to aim straight to the sensor of TV in order to get connected , I am regret i threw away the old one that was much better than this.

It works for almost everything except for 3D audio it absolutely will not connect via Bluetooth no matter what I do The lights show up on the remote as trying to connect but no signal comes out of the remote at all nothing recognizes this remote as having any signal for Bluetooth

This remote was not working at all. No voice control Stopped working after couple of days. Very hard keys

Decent replacement remote but it would not connect with Bravia 8 Mark II for voice commands.

This remote does not pair with my Bravia 8 v2024.

So I have a Bravia 8 OLED and it did not come with a backlit remote but it does come with the microphone built it. I saw that this is the model number RMF-TX920U which would be the upgraded Sony remote with microphone, backlight etc. However this remote is not a genuine Sony remote, this is a third party remote. The remote looks good and upon installing the batteries, it automatically controlled my TV, no issues. However when you click the microphone button on the remote it brings up a menu on the screen on how to pair the remote by pushing the Vol - and the MIC button. The light flashes on the remote but it never connects. When I do this with my original remote it connects within 5 seconds. Do remember that you can only pair one remote to the TV for the Voice but you can use multiple remotes to do other functions. For the backlight you have to click the Vol - key and the home button and the backlight turns on. Once it's turned on it comes on and off with movement. I will say that it's VERY dim but it's better than nothing. I had to be in complete darkness to be able to notice it was illuminated. One last thing to mention is that this remove differs from the original OEM Sony because the OEM Sony uses a USB rechargeable battery. This remote using AAA batteries which are not supplied. I'd be fine with the AAA route if it would pair correctly and the backlight was brighter. I did contact the seller to see if maybe I have a faulty remote and waiting on a response. All in all I'll probably keep the remote for backup but it's a shame that all the features I wanted aren't fully baked and that it's really good as just a secondary remote with limitations.
