RIOGOO Pet Cooling Pad, Self Dog Cat Cooling Mat, Aluminum Alloy Foldable Cooling Mat for Dogs and Cats (L:20.2×15.7 in)

I ordered the large size as the small seemed too small even for a cat. The one that I received had some noticable scratch marks on it which gave me concerns that it was used and re-sold to me, and even more concerning, multiple noticable discolored dents in the aluminum which would have been on it even if it were new. I was hoping for a pad that would stay cool at room temperature, but unfortunately it was barely cooler than room temp to the touch, unlike aluminum backed phones I've owned in the past. It did cool very quickly in cold water/the freezer, but it warmed back up to room temperature just as quickly after pulling it out. Cat had zero interest in laying on it even on an extremely hot day. Feeling like the large was still surprisingly small and recalling the product images, I later realized that I hadn't even received the larger one I paid for, but the small one.

The pet cooling pad is super light weighted (made by aluminum), and sturdy compared to those soft Colling Pat's. So I don't have to worry too much that my puppy will chew it off. It's also easy to carry around as it can be folded into a smaller compact size. The material also make my life easier to clean up after I use it outdoors like at the park or beach, etc. Overall a great product, light, sturdy, easy to carry and clean. Strongly recommend.

1. This doesn't work outside in the heat. It only "worked" inside when we had the AC on, and it was only slightly cooler than the room temperature.2. It is hard and uncomfortable. My dog wouldn't go near it, much less lie down on it. She preferred laying on the tile to this thing, which isn't much help outdoors.3. It's just a piece of junk, don't waste your money

My cat really likes this. I use it on an enclosed porch, and he enjoys it on our really hot days. i bought a large one and the smaller version. the smaller one was too small and I returned it, but this one gives him room to curl up or stretch out.

The cat didn't use it, but it doubles as a great laptop surface for extra cooling!

My dog was scared of it. It’s Made of aluminum slats.

My dog thinks I’m being mean to him when I try and get him to see how cool it is. He’ll lay next to it but not on it.
