Seems effective - great for the price - I rarely see silverfish anymore
This seems to work quite well. I was surprised, and perhaps I overdid it by putting these below every sink, corner and vanity in the bathrooms - but after putting these out I stopped ever seeing silverfish. I had been seeing them every few days since moving in, now rarely. There is now maybe one silverfish every so often. I bought this over six months ago, and it still seems to be working effectively as the silverfish haven't come back in the winter, so it's long lasting. This is also great for the price and easy to use. You just take them out of the box and throw them around. It's easy to temporarily remove them to clean up, mop, etc and throw them back afterward. I'm not quite sure where the dead silverfish go, but I don't mind not seeing their bodies either.

FINALLY SOMETHING THAT WORKS 100%
I rarely write reviews, but I knew I needed to help everyone's stress with Silverfish. This is the only product that works for me. I have not seen a single silverfish in 3 months since using these! I thought this would help a little, but never did I expect it to work 100%. Pest sprays didn't really work, plus I didn't feel safe spraying that everywhere since I have a cat. I've then tried Diatomaceous Earth since it's pet safe, but that was way too messy to use, and didn't see much results. These are mess free, and are the easiest to use. Literally just place them on the ground and done. I feel comfortable with them in my bathroom even if I have a cat. Just make sure they are a little out of reach just incase, but overall my cat doesn't seem interested in it at all. They lay flat, so nothing interesting about them for pets to sniff/bite. Stop looking for other solutions for Silverfish,,,this is the only thing you will ever need!!

Seem to work well, but don't just rely on these alone.
After seeing a couple random silverfish/firebrats in my apartment the past few weeks, I decided to be proactive in deterring/eliminating the pests. I did some research online and saw these were generally effective in controlling small/average problems with silverfish. I placed these in some nooks and crannies throughout the place, also under the kitchen/bathroom sinks and in my closet. Asides from seeing a nymph crawling on the wall and some dead/sluggish ones in my closet (right by the pack), I haven't seen an active one since Friday night. I'm going to assume the packs are poisoning them and they're dying in the cracks/crevices where they live. Also, a side note: if you're seeing these creepy things, take preventative measures as well. I invested in a couple packs of cedar blocks and put them throughout my place, since silverfish, moths (and other household pests) have an aversion to the oils in the wood. I took care to clean up any loose papers/cardboard piles and also seal up books and starchy foods in air tight containers. It also helps to vacuum/clean regularly to avoid these guys. If you have a serious problem where your walls/floors are crawling with silverfish, these probably won't work. You should seek a professional if you have an active and visible infestation.

Seems to work well
I had an issue with silverfish throughout my house. I placed packets in most rooms, and started seeing dead silverfish within a few days. I have not seen any silverfish since.

Where did my Silverfish go?
I was desperate when I bought this because I was killing at least 3 of these disgusting things a day. And they weren't just in my bathroom, they were everywhere. They were in my bedroom, the garage around the washer and dryer and even in my bedroom closet. They had even laid eggs all over one of my t-shirts. Needless to say, I was at my wits end. After placing these traps around, I haven't seen one silverfish but there are none in any of my traps. So where did they go? It has been over 2 months since I have seen any silverfish and that is the same amount of time these traps have been out. So did these traps send them packaging? I don't know but I sure hope that is the case.

Did nothing at all
I tried Dekko packs about a year ago when I had a substantial silverfish infestation. I tried everything else too (boric acid, diatomaceous earth, cheap dehumidifiers). I even used to get up late at night and hunt them in the dark. The silverfish have no apparent interest in Dekko packs whatsoever. I left them out for a couple months, tucked in obscure dark cervices, out in the open, all over. I still find some I left out sometimes. I've never seen a nibble on a pack and I've never seen a dead silverfish I didn't kill myself (except after the bug spray). My advice after trying everything: * Get some 6-month residual bug spray to spray under the baseboards and generally work into the walls ** I found dozens of silverfish corpses the next day and hopefully more died in the walls * Seal the baseboards with caulk (lock in all the nasty bug spray) * Keep it clean, dry and cool. Leave windows open in the evening * Get a hyrgometer/thermometer combo to measure the temp and humidity in your house to see how you're doing * Squish 'em at night A year later I still see about one per week, but that's a lot better than a dozen per night like it used to be. Please don't waste your money on these packs. They probably cost a penny to make and do nothing. Great scam.
