Innovations Genuine G2153 Threaded CO2 Cartridge, 16 Gram (Pack of 6)

I use this for my pressurized growler dispenser and to force carbonate new homebrew and it works fine. Seems to be pure gas with no associated smells or tastes to effect the beer. Or you could use it for bike tires, but beer seems a better use.

I picked these up as a cheaper replacement for a "Fluval Mini Pressurized 20g-CO2 Kit - 0.7 ounces" system purchased here on Amazon. They screw into the system's adapter easily, and provide plenty of CO2.Absolutely will be re-purchasing when I run out of these canisters.

I've used these cartridges with a tire inflator gadget to inflate dirt bike tires. A single cartridge provides more than enough pressure to seat the tire bead at about 30 ~ 35 psi.

Now I see I can't return them. very disappointed

I prefer the threaded over the non-threaded (they seem to leak). These work great for homebrewing. One catridge is good for a mini keg.

Good quality, I think, but I have yet to need to use one so can't be sure. AS I have said before, you need to carry 2 or a small back up pump, in case you mess up the process, which ,from what I understand, can happen, especially if you are new at this. Two cartridges does add weight if you are fixated on that.

Learned the hard way that if you're riding a commuter bike with 700 x 35c tires that this level of cartridge does not have the volume to get you more than about 40-45 lbs; not quite enough to ensure a safe ride home. A supplemental pump-up with a small hand pump takes care of that - but get the 20 size if you need more volume and hope to use larger tires and ride extended mileage after inflation.
