This spritz cookie disc collection offers designs that are not included in the basic OXO set and the OXO holiday set. I was especially interested in the circular design for Christmas wreath cookies. The discs I received were pretty scuffed and scratched, but they'll do the job. They are just a tiny hair shy of 2" in diameter, as expected for the OXO press.

These six cookie discs provide a fine assortment of designs for fancy cookie making. The discs are heavy enough to hold their shape nicely and will probably fit most cookie presses and cookie guns currently on the market. No matter what recipe you choose to make your cookies from, it is best to use real butter rather than a margarine. Real butter will help the cookies hold their shapes while baking. If your dough begins to dry out, add some additional softened butter. A dry, crumbly dough does not work well in a cookie press or cookie gun. By using a little imagination, you can use these same discs to make your own original cookie shapes.
