For what I needed these did the trick. I needed multiple sticks for a birthday party with numerous kids. They were rookies so I knew they would catch a traditional sharpened stick on fire.These do telescope well and are easy to clean. Everyone could sit as close or as far from the fire as they wanted. They did hold up to the weight of an normal sized hot dog and can cook it by running it along the tongs or across. It even held the weight of two hotdogs for some very hungry kids.The only knock is they are a little flimsy so the long term use is questionable. I'm sure they would hold up with occasional use or by rotating them, I'm just not convinced this is a "lifetime" kind of product.

We have a tendency to buy the long roasting sticks and then toss them after because they don’t clean well and they’re long and not easy to travel with. I saw these and immediately wanted to try them. I’m super impressed with the quality. Everyone who tried them thought they were great and worked well. They easily hold two marshmallows or two hot dogs when fully extended. The carry bag is a nice touch, but it’s pretty low quality. It remains to be seen if the bag will hold up during camping trips.

Bought these to take to a multi-generational outing . They were perfect for the fire pit experience at our hotel.Even our two year old grand- daughter could easily handle them with adult supervision. This product is terrific .Love the telescoping feature. Would be great for hot dogs too.Thank you for helping us create the perfect magical memories.

Great value for the price. Easy to use, easy to pack and store, extendable forks perfect for roasting marshmallows and hotdogs over a campfire from a reasonably safe distance. If fully extended, the forks do not have the same sturdiness, as when half extended - but that is for obvious reasons as the longest end is also the thinnest (what makes them extendable). We'll be using these for many years to come.

These are a great addition to any camp out, bon fire or cook out!Pros:-two forks to hold two of something or one hot dog-telescoping so you don't have to burn your hands while heating your food-you have enough for everyone to use at the same time...no one has to wait!-easy to clean and transport with the bagCons:-need to watch how heavy the food is on the end the further out you pull them(they will flex some)-the ends are sharp and youngsters or adults who have been drinking should be supervised

These are great!! I decided to get them as a party favor gift for my son’s birthday party. I was amazed and pleased with how nice they were. Perfect size for kid hands but great for grownups as well. They extended super far so no one needed to stand in the fire. And I was amazed how easily they washed up (we roasted marshmallows). Previous skewers we used were awful to clean. Also loved the bright orange color. Overall super pleased!

LOVE this purchase! With Covid I invite guests to visit around the fire pit. We’ve used these multiple times, they’re solidly built, & the extension works perfectly. There have been a few minor burns where we pushed in the telescopic end & misjudged how much we’d placed over the fire but those were operator error. Lol .. if a kid is using them, I would extend the stick & tell them not to adjust the length. Then it will be obvious where it’s hot.. no more dangerous than any other fire stick they would roast a marshmallow onDefinitely a great purchase .

For years I've been getting almost as toasted as the marshmallows, with a 2ft fork. These are great. I can sit back comfortably. They're more sturdy than I expected (after reading the reviews). I expect they will last a life time, at least most of them. Okay, they're not indestructible, but with reasonable care they won't break, and they're very strong when at the minimum length.
