Works great. Balance your water first. I suspect most of the bad experiences are from the thinking that this will just fix everything in one shot. I easily got 6 weeks out of the bromine cartridge. I test weekly and adjust ph/accordingly, not that difficult. I use regular test strips, not the over priced frog ones. Tub is nice and clear and much easier on skin, far less chlorine smell, if at all.

Wished I had found this product when I first got my spa. So easy and the chemicals are finally correct and don't burn your eyes. Love this product!

The water chemistry is always within range. The water smells and feels great. Almost no foaming.

I LOVE this product. In April 2020, I bought an inexpensive inflatable hot tub to make our vacation-less Covid summer at home more enjoyable. After reading reviews I opted to try this system and I am oh-so-happy that I did! Along with my hot tub, this is one of the best product purchases I’ve ever made. Fill the hot tub with water, pop the two cartridges into the holder and drop it into the hot tub. Done and done! My hot tub required almost no other attention all summer. I nearly always found my water crystal clear. The few times it got slightly cloudy, I poured in a packet of the shock product, ran the jets for a minute or two to stir it up well, and left it to work for 24 hours. When I came back the next day the water was always clear and inviting once again. It comes with test strips and you are supposed to monitor water levels but I find that following the directions on the cartridges keeps things just where they should be. It's probably pricier than using a chlorine system but its well worth it! This product makes owning a hot tub nearly effortless!

We have a 250 gallon hot tub. I love how easy this is to use with my other chemicals. I set the bromine on 3 and the mineral on 6 as instructed. After placing it underwater for a few minutes I shake it to loosen up the bromine. It does comes packed solid and I have learned that this really makes a difference. After that we are always good. As time goes on and it starts to get low we turn it up to 4 up through 6. The last day I have it on 6 and the next day I replace my bromine. I submerge it and shake it a few times. Don't forget that your shock makes your bromine work better and makes it last longer.
