This is the Probe you are looking for....
I seldom write reviews....it has to be an exceptional product or a piece of junk before I take time to advise others. This in an exceptional product. I grill and/or smoke meat several times per week and have used this product 15-20 times already. Whether I'm doing a long slow cook on a brisket or cooking medium rare beef tenderloins....this multi temp probe unit is the key. It is easy to use and has remained flawless for accurate read-out. If I plug in all 4 of the probes they will read within 1 degree of each other (other units I've owned were all over the place and lacked accuracy). This comes in very handy when grilling steaks for company that requires doing some at "medium rare" and some at "medium". The only thing I am not able to comment on, is the long term durability. It appears to be very well made, but I have only used it for a few months so far. CK

it works
It works as advertised. And it worked more than once. I've had problems with remote thermometers in the past either the probes would quit working, or the unit would just die after a couple of uses. The Maverick XR-50 has exceeded my expectations. the multiple probes come in very handy when cooking multiple meats, or like last weekend I smoked a duck and had grill temp, breast temp, and thigh temp. It is easy to set up none of that set meat and taste just to get the temp that you wanted. Just straightforward setting the temp, and you can put the remote in your pocket and not lose your settings. It was designed by someone who actually makes Barbeque. In closing I will add that the Maverick XR-50 is the leave in thermometer I have always dreamed about. It com pleats my smoking rig A 22in Weber Kettle, Slow n Sear 2.0, and the Maverick XR-50. They go together like Ribs and Smoke.

Perfect pulled pork!
I decided to purchase this thermometer after seeing excellent reviews on AmazingRibs.com, and I was not disappointed! I've done a 10lb pork shoulder and a whole chicken already, and they were just perfect! The meat probes seem to correlate extremely well with my handheld digital thermometer, so I was happy with that. My only issue was that the ambient probe didn't correlate at all with my dome thermometer. I know, I know... The ambient probe should be the more accurate of the two! My dome temp runs about 20-50 degrees lower than the digital probe read. However, when I was slow rolling at 250F digital for the pork shoulder, the meat absolutely failed to come out of its stall. When I let my Kamado Joe rise back up to 250F on the dome thermometer, the stall finally ended and my shoulder started to cook again. I think the final cook time was close to 20hrs! When I did the whole chicken, I used the dome thermometer as my baseline, which worked very well. I then used the meat probe to determine when the cook was done. Perfect!Overall, I highly recommend this device. Well priced, durable and very easy to use! My only suggestion would be to play around a bit with your digital probe-to-dome temps before you invite the family over for a BBQ just to make sure you know your cook zones.

Works, nothing more to it
I use this thermometer with my smoker. It's accurate, reads pretty fast, has good range, and an easy to read display. Seems to have great battery life also.My one complaint is regarding the magnets on the back of both the transmitter and receiver. This is probably great for an oven door or a slow cooker, but this plastic WILL melt if you attach a unit directly to a grill or smoker.

Good enough!
Very impressed with how well built this unit is. It seems quite sturdy, displays are bright and easy to read, and controls are intuitive and well laid-out. You should read the directions anyway, as there are some nuances that require a bit of education, but not much!I turned on both units and they synced together without issue. Since some reviewers said they had syncing issues, I re-synced twice, just to make sure that wasn't an issue, and no problems at all. With all temperature probes plugged in at once, they all read within one degree of each other. The two furthest apart were still less than a degree apart. That may not be scientific accuracy, but it's good enough for barbecue!5 stars for a very good unit at a very decent price.

Not syncing
As of now haven't been able to sync..Sent email to customer service and waiting for response..This was Friday May 17..I really needed this for a weekend cook but bieng that It never synced up with receiver I didn't use.. transmitter works fine but didn't use in case I have to send back..UPDATE..So the guys at adrenaline reached out and immediately sent another unit. The new unit synced right up.I am very impressed by the range of this thing and also with the accuracy..I did my whole yard front back and sides and never lost signal..so I tried walking to my mailbox which is at the end of my block and still never lost signal..This thing is awesome and the customer support is great..I do recommend this product.

East Use and Accurate
This setup is awesome. The remote makes it worth every penny. I live in Central Texas, now I don't have to go out into the heat as often as before, set it and forget it. The 4 probes make it easy to use as well, you can cook different types of meat and see their accurate temps. I calibrated this with 2 other thermometers that I have, spot on. I just stick it to the side of my smoker with the magnets and go about my business. It is well built and sturdy, I hope it lasts for years.
