The Life of Chuck Hardcover – June 10, 2025

I found this unexpectedly in my kindle. It is the only thing that I know of King’s that I haven’t read and it is such a gift! We’re all getting older, but I was one of those girls who loved to and could dance. I know exactly what these “just right” moments feel like. Thank all the stars for gifts like Stephen and Chuck.

What a fun concept! Similar to the Green Mile, which was originally released in installments, this book is the warm, fuzzy, but scary, best of Stephen King. King is the master of the Everyman story, and the flip-book technique is very clever.

This as with all of his books keeps you turning page after page until you reach the the stories crescendo. Thanks again for all your stories Sir.

The only author I ever preorder is King and pine for the release. Not so with the recent release of Never Flinch; however, this short was the King we all know and love. Can I get an Amen? The words flow like a river, suck you under and drown the reader in the story. THIS IS KING.

Strange, interesting story - but then it is Stephen King. Requires a thoughtful mind and insight into a strange world.

Telling the story backwards was a very different way to describe the life of Chuck. I was really drawn into the first part (end of his life). As usual Stephen King has created an unusual way to tell a unique life story. I would recommend reading this I would recommend reading this.

Both stories are connected. I enjoyed both. Sorry there weren't more to enjoy. Quick reads, that most will enjoy. I suggest reading them after finishing a long , tedious book,, as I did. Very refreshing .

This is one of those stories that takes up residence in the recesses of your mind, never to be forgotten. In the beginning, I, too, wanted to know who Chuck was. Now, having learned about him and his short life, I'll never forget it.
