Did I mention that these run wide? No problem on my end, but decent socks for those with ice skate blade feet.
Besides a few minut details, they were identical to the Corcoran Jump Boots that I acquired when I was in the US Army. These boots do indeed run wide, because my EEE width feet fit into them perfectly. No complaints there. No nail inside the boot issue either. The stitching, and sole attatchment were sound, and consistant. The leather was unblemished, and the finish was without flaw. After I decided that I was going to keep them, I treated them with Obenauf's LP. Overnight, the leather soaked almost all of it up, so a routine second coat was added. I have been wearing them on the average of once a day, for break in, drying them off with a Peet dryer every time. So far, no blisters, or sore spots. The flex points are softening up nicely. These boots will never see a parade, nor inspection, so "spit shining" is no concern. I replaced the provided flat laces with brown kevlar blend laces, to avoid the evential fraying. The only "flaw" that I detected was some glue residue in the toe area of the right boot. Keep in mind that these are NOT US made Corcorans, so do not expect perfection. These are excellent boots both functionally, and visually, especially for the price point. Overall, I am very happy with these boots.

... boots were really kick ass looking and I absolutely loved their aesthetic but sadly they are going back
These boots were really kick ass looking and I absolutely loved their aesthetic but sadly they are going back. They were simply too small. I had a hell of a time getting them on because there is no loop on the back to help you pull them on and the tongue is attached up to around the 4th hole down with only a moderate amount of slack. Once on I was surprised to find they were a bit tight all over, including in the width. I was reluctant to buy these initially because they are considering a wide shoe but I didn't find them to be so. I would've re-purchased these if they were sold in 1/2 sizes but I think a whole size larger would be too much. It's a bummer because these are a very good looking boot that appear to be of solid construction for a very reasonable price.

Everybody Should Have A Pair Of Good Leather Boots
So far so good. Made in China, but less than half the price of Cochrans. Appear well-constructed; did not have the nails protruding from the footbed as one other reviewer mentioned - suspect that that was a one-off that slipped by Quality Control.Other than brown instead of black, these look exactly like the original style Cochran jump boots I purchased throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The leather shaft is softer and more flexible than the Cochrans (and those took a bunch of breaking in, which was no frickin' giggle - real men sucked it up and powered through the blisters) and are much more comfortable right out of the box. They fit comfortably over USGI green cushion sole boot socks, and should require minimal breaking in.The soles are also classic style - NOT the full length lugged Vibram rubber soles found on the newer versions.Applied Sno-Seal brand waterproofing, and will lightly polish tomorrow after the Sno-Seal has soaked in. Am a big believer in Sno-Seal: it preserves the leather and makes the boot more water resistant, and you can still spit-shine the boot to a high gloss..Will update further once these have been in service for a while.Update 4 SEP 17. Have been wearing these regularly. No problems with break-in, good comfortable fit and plenty of ankle support. Like these so much I purchased a second pair from this vendor. Good, quick service, quality product, highly recommend.

Much better quality than expect, great bang for the buck.
Just received today, I was expecting chinese made "so-so" boots that would work for an airborne costume, but these are actually pretty nice boots! Do not see nails in the soles and none poking through as one for two other reviewers mentioned (maybe they changed the design?) Made of real leather, construction is good, leather is pretty supple compared to some rock hard boots you get. My brother has owned a couple of pairs of real jump boots and was suitably impressed at these especially for the price. I normally wear a size 9 shoe and these at 8ee fit just fine with the curved "jump front" shape of the boot. Laces are cotton, may replace with better laces, but for $69.99 shipped I can't complain! Very happy with my purchase thus far!

Love the boots!
Amazing quality. They look just as advertised and they look great worn. I wear a women’s size 10 so I chose a men’s size 8. They fit as expected, but I’ve yet to use them during the day so I don’t know if they’ll be comfortable for extended use. They’re really hard to take off if the laces aren’t really loose.

Well made, Surprisingly well.
Leather. Well built. I like how these feel. I have WIDE feet (EEEE). and the wide version of these boots fit tight in the beginning. I took my time breaking them in, wearing them around the house half an hour at a time until they stretched out. Now I can wear them all day and they feel very good. These are Chinese made but don't let that disuade you. They might not last as long at the US made ones, but they are well made and have held up quite well.

Looked good but wore out quickly
I guess I shouldn't have expected these to be like what I bought when I was in the Army. Thought they'ld be similar. stitching held up well, soles are ok, but the leather was of poorer quality. These are made in China. I wish I'd of noticed that before I bought them.

Comfortable boots
I love these boots. It took only a few days to wear them in. A good coat of neutral shoe polish will help them last longer. There are some imperfections in the leather, but you can't see them unless you look really close. Size is fairly true to size, maybe a little bit big.
