Buy this vertical key machine!
This is a great low cost vertical key machine. I just cut two Gm slotted keys and they work perfectly. Watch some YouTube videos on how to make adjustments to it before using it. It usually costs me twenty five or thirty dollars each to get these cut so this will pay itself out with just cutting a few keys.

You can cut any metal key with a little rigging
The product does what it says. The holders aren't perfect you might need to shim the keys but once you figure out where to put the blanks how to use the machine it works great. I ordered a set of bits for it even though it comes with bits that can get the job done. I also use oil on the blanks where I'll be cutting to prolong bit life. I've made about 20 keys and only one blank didn't work and that was my fault. I also had one key that was already cut for a Honda Crosstour that didn't turn in the ignition and I recut that already cut nonworking key using a known good key as the guide and then the key they wouldn't previously turn the ignition worked. Then programmed it and it still works.

Horrible instructions and you must get the vertical clamps for all common keys
Maybe my rating will improve once I get the accessory clamps; I cannot believe they are not included when the machine says it works on many keys; obviously not with the mot common house keys. The instructions stink and there are no good videos to demonstrate the machine; I am very disappointed that I now have to wait 3 weeks for the clamps. I expect to barely make the return window if those clamps don't work.

Great key making machine once you tune it up and learn how to use it.
Great product which can make working keys. Car keys may require special tools to program antitheft chips. Keys with thin edges like Honda and Acura are better held y as much of the uncut area as possible or better yet with an additional side clamping fixture. It will work great if you Take your time and learn on some inexpensive key blanks before moving to more expensive remote key fobs. You might also want to apply more grease to the linear slides to get it moving as smoothly as possible. Can't beat this for the money.

Better than other Chinese machines
Mmmm chinese after all but it did its job. For BMW I had to spend another 40 dollars in a new bit that cuts 90° though. Otherwise satisfied

hard to insert the drill bits into the slot hole.
Pro: The speed can be adjusted compared to the last version. Con: the drill bit is very hard to push into the slot, veeeeeeeeery hard, actually. I couldn't make it, so I finally had to use sandpaper to sand down the black drill bits to make them slim a little bit. I used WD-40 to lubricate it,
