Dangerous & defective product the is NOT properly grounded. A ground wire w/ ring terminal was supposed to provide an acceptable ground BUT screw is too long and can NOT be tightened. This can easily be remedied w/ an assembly of long screw, a lock washer and a nut. Next add another flat washer, the ring terminal, another flat and then another lock washer with finally another nut. When assembled, screw the long screw into the case, tighten the first nut the finish tightening the final nut. Now you have a properly grounded 30Watt LED flood lamp that actually consumes a full 30 watts. This product should have NEVER left the factory, BUT it did and now mine is perfectly safe and useful.

Purchased five a little more than a year ago. I use these lights for my workshop away from the outdoor environment. 3/5 of the lights have burned out so to speak. This is the response I got from GLW:"Our warranty is free to deliver the accessories to repair the light instead of sending a new light again. In addition, 3 of 5 flood lights damaged, we think this is a serious problem."A serious problem! When I ordered the lights, I had to attach the cord and also found several of the lights did not have the ground wire attached. They want me to open the lights and rip out the LEDs and reattach the LEDs to the electrical?So beware of warranty claims as YOU will have to fix the lights yourself.

It didn't arrive damaged, but there was no packing material.The grommet was broken off allowing water to enter the lamp. I needed this right away so I sealed it with silicone. Also, the 4 screws holding the face plate on weren't completely torqued making for a loose frame. It also has inadequate weather sealing. I also added a bead of silicone to make sure it won't leak.My only other concern is rust. The steel faceplate retainer isn't galvanized.It also seems to interfere with radio frequencies.

Very bright. I use two of these to light up the front of a two story 4 br house. I also have others for the sides. They make the house look majestic. I had only one burnout after about 3-4 years but this is with burning 8-12 hours a night every day. I replaced it with the same product since I was so happy with its performance. We have harsh winter weather and very hot and humid summers. I disassembled the burned out light but found no evidence of water getting inside. Good solid light for reasonable price.

It is not 30 watts as advertised. It is only around 23-25w, fluctuate up and down a little. I have another unit that is 30 watts and I can clearly see big difference in light output. I know something is off so I hook it up to Kill-a-watt meter to test for power, then the result shows clearly that it is just 23w - explain the dimmer light output. Also it seems to heat up a little faster compare to the other 30w unit even though the other one run longer at higher power.

Love the daylight white color of this LED. I use it for aquarium lighting and it does a fantastic job. It gets rather hot in the back but not enough for me to have concerns. I use some small 2" pvc piping to life it off the glass so that the glass doesn't get hot. I'm so happy with it and its price that i bought two more.

Not a bad light for the money but has one important drawback. No off-on switch. So you have to plus this in every time you use it. I am using for over bench lighting and can easily plug it in when needed but this would be a real negative if you did not have an outlet close by. The cord is about 2 feet long, so again, probably less than perfect for many. The light is bright and has worked fine so far.

I will purchase more of these babies. Quick service and well made product. I used this to light a large tree for Christmas decorations and the tree really stood out and looked awesome. These are really bright. Halogen and incandescent floods are wimpy compared to these. I plan on mounting them inside my garage after Christmas to replace my standard flood light for much better work/task lighting.

Used a power meter, shows that this only uses 24W and not the advertised 30W. Disapointing
