It's a hose, what's to say?
Well, a few things, I suppose:It's tough to work with right out of the package. It's coiled kinda tight, and pulling it straight actually kinks it when you first unroll it. I clamped it between two chairs in my back yard in the sun... when I came back to it 2 hours later it was more agreeable. Now I have 30" of it running water up my kid's water play center. It actually has some body to it, and doesn't kink when your round corners as tight as 1" radius.

Get the water flowing
It does exactly what I bought it for. What more could I ask for? No glitz or glamore, no fashion statement, but when this one fails I definately buy it again.

Tubing Necessary
Tubing is tubing, but it is a durable product to use for my pond. Should be adequate if I need to expand

Rolled Up Hose, Won't Unkink
I got this hose to use to pump water 4ft vertically to create a small rain curtain. It came out of the package tightly rolled up. When I get around to testing the hose for leaks, it kinked every 4-6 inches because it took shape to the coil it was packaged in. I tried to massage the kinks out but it didn't work. It greatly effected the flow rate of the pump. I ended up using 1/4" vinyl tubing which far outperformed the half inch PVC tubing. I have to say, for the price, not too much harm was done, but I can't, in all good faith, recommend the hose to others.

In one end out the other
Water goes in water comes out. I used this tubing for an outside fountain. Quality was excellent and should hold up well. Stiff at first but this shows the piping has a thick wall as it should have. Laid out in the hot sun for a few minutes it became more pliable. Worth the money for 20' which was more than I needed.

Not happy with this
It was coiled so tight in its box, just jammed in there, that there were numerous kinks that don't come out. I even applied heat and eventually had to wrap wire around the flattened areas to force it into a circular shape. Sharp radius turns are totally impossible, contrary to what another review stated. I had to get plastic els made for drip irrigation systems in order to make turns and keep the water flowing.About five feet of the twenty was totally unusable. You can, however, use a match to soften the plastic to slide onto fittings. When you do these sorts of projects be aware that every trade has its own take on what 1/2" actually is and if you hunt around for fittings for your project you will come up with multiple variations of 1/2" and you will have to figure out how to join all this together. So, if you just go to a hardware store to get another sort of tubing, bring whatever you have to join together with you to make sure it will all join up. This tubing can be made to fit with heat while other types of tubing may not work that way. That got it two stars instead of one.

Pretty good.
This thing has been sitting in the pond for quite some time now. It's still working well and doesn't crack, peel, corrode, or anything on me yet. It seems to work well and great in the sun also. Not bad!

Consistant company
I have purchased 4 Sunterra pumps in the past. They are well constructed, have generous cords, and satisfy my needs for a good pump. Price is reasonable and I have no hesitation to purchase another Sunterra pump in the future!
