Great support from the seller, replacement sent!
UPDATE: The seller sent a replacement, and so far the replacement has worked correctly, so I have updated my review rating based on the sellers communication and professional support they offered in attempt to resolve the issue.The construction is nice, but when connecting to the stand the iPad recognises that the stand is a Chinese keyboard!This then causes all sorts of problems with the on-screen keyboard not automatically popping up and when the battery reaches full charge then the ipads connect and disconnect every few seconds this is crazily annoying!

A useful stand for using an iPad as a second screen
Actually really useful, allows me to use my iPad Pro as an auxiliary screen for my iMac, correctly positioned and on charge. Nicely built, well packaged etc. - I am pleased with this.
